    Tyres.

I'll support what you said bout the t1r's melting. Alex tends to use them when the track is wet in sure. In the dry i had bits of tyre stuck to my bodywork. I have been running re040's on track and they are very good when it's dry as it much easier to get them upto temp. Due to my driving style(speed) in the wet I struggled to get them upto temp but once i got a little bit of heat they started to become adequate. I used the re040's on my first track day and it was lashing it down. Managed to survive it though. I'm about to get a set of maxxis track tyres to test out. Waiting on the garage advising me what's available in the Uk. They seem to be used alot an sponsor alot of events but I've never heard of anyone actually using them
  6. The gt4 is the only pre-06 with the power increase. The 2006 facelift has had new front and rear lights fitted and a new and better quality dash also
  7. There is 6 cars in our household. 3 of them are mine. Current work car is a my60 golf tsi. I must say it is awesome with the twin charger and circa 170hp and pretty good fuel consumption of about 35 average. Can go upto 40 odd on the motorway.

    EBC Redstuff

I wouldnt just change the rears, the chances are the fronts will need done aswell but if you have a higher friction on the rear it will put the brake bias out

bluestuff ngx are track only, ive used yellowstuff on road and track and they have been great. fantastic value for money. The ebc website tells you about the different type of pads. The yellows are about as low rated as i would venture in their range. Ive got a set of bluestuff ngx waiting to go on to review for a trader on here. Will be doing a logged report from fitting to running on road and track.
  13. Welcome! Hope you have fun when you pick up the zed!
  14. I'm sure Mark at abbey will have the best stuff there? Surely he'll get it cheaper due to the amount he buys. My missus dad gets his stuff very cheap in comparison to the price online.
  15. I think the orange is too loud for me. I like how the gm has the ability to look sophisticated when it has to although mines is sounding like an asbo car these days and slowly getting louder monthly as I can afford more parts.
  16. The old timer will be redundant. The new boiler will be a combination boiler which provides hot water only when using it. The old hot water tank will be redundant.
  17. Am I the only person who hasn't had this problem Maybe the replica wings are heavier?
  18. Car is sold, I will post due to Stephens current circumstances
  19. im doing away with the motul one and moving the nismo one down a little or angled. Depending on what my aunt wants to put on the car it may change over time. Im thinking black wheels and red rim will look best for the rays. Thinking the nismo's satin black with white chunky nismo stickers and chrome lip for shows
  20. I'm not feeling it lads. Makin the car look cheap and nasty. I don't know what to do now.
