  1. Haha common problem. I took my boot apart and round all the edges I fitted padded air conditioning pipe insulation. I cut it all into fine strips and went round all the edges. It never stopped completely but did quieten down. My advise is do what I did and buy a different exhaust.
  2. I'm just 23. I left school after staying as long as I could, I never fancied uni as I was too immature and wasn't interested in study. I preferred a manual graft type of job. I'm now in a job where I love my job but don't enjoy the company I work for. We're underpaid, and to make any decent money you have to do extra hours and weekend work. I'm now searching for a job which will balance this equation with decent pay and not so much overtime. I'm a mutiskilled building service engineer. I studied 4 years at college, sponsored by a massive company to be qualified in commercial gas, air con and ventilation, plumbing and electrical. I then moved under a tupe agreement to a new company. They have then sponsored me through my hnc(English equivalent of btec I think) in building design and projects management. This has been for the last two years and although may sound easy it's alot of maths and equations and is pretty challenging. So for 6 years I've worked and studied at the same time. I'm now looking forward to progressing to a new position outwith my current company.
  3. She's already mrs irfan lol

  7. Welcome! lots of us around up this direction... look forward to maybe seeing you at meets. Theres a man that lives very close to you if you ever need anything for the car, whether it be genuine or aftermarket, he will be able to source alot cheaper than a dealer.

  9. i love that place, its like a heaven for all things zed related mines will be there in the next months or so
  10. Just that they crack later on , agreed I payer 60 too but have you priced the gasket between the manifold and decats.......... trade Nissan 26 each You can use the old gaskets. Mines were fine. Alex can get them a bit cheaper im sure
  11. it will be a much better job than nismo done im sure. The nismo exhaust sounds amazing with hfc's. Really brings it to life. When the guys reweld it, it will take the stress out of it a bit.
  12. There should be a cupholder in there, if it's missing take it up with the garage that sold it to you or if it was bought privately, contact ZMANALEX or R35LEE On the 06, its a money holder. The cupholders are located in the centre. They arent suitable for large mcdonalds cups as i found it, the straws like to cut your arm when changing gear
  13. Welcome... a wee cheeky bit of self advertising there
  14. mines had to get replaced and it cost in the region of 200quid. The guys that repaired it said that they are fitted under tension or something which then puts stress on them causing the flexi's to go. They are also renowned for breaking berks im sure
  15. i have the whining on my car too, i think its just drivetrain noise as mines has done it from day one
  16. Read the replies on the thread you posted up here http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=45516
  17. Sounds like your pads were actually stuck and not the handbrake. If your leaving the car for long periods of time you should always leave the handbrake off. Go and find a big open road and get your brakes upto temp as if you were bedding pads in. You may also have a sticky piston in the calipers but more than likely you have pad material stuck on the disk.
  18. thats was me mate, I was changing cds and before i knew it a 350z flew by me lol. My reg says out David so not sure where the B came from Your my proper first spotting on this forum You were mines aswell Davy
  19. I've got them on mines and they have been fine so far. I only paid 60 quid for mines so it's no hassle if the crack tbh. You only get what you pay for. When you say they crack down the line what does that mean? Cheers
  20. Hey guys, I'm looking at buying shares but only a small amount to test water. If had 500quid to buy some shares with, what should I invest in. I was talking with cragus the other night and he was saying that he has been getting advice. I'm not really sure about how to go about with this even after reading this thread. So any advice would be brilliant and appreciated alot! Thanks
  21. I always use paisleyfreight. They are fantastic and always have the greatest price. For 2 19" Tyres they only want 11quid next day delivery.
  22. if you buy post 05, ie 06 on then tax is around 440 quid a year, just to remind you
  23. These cars are great for over 100k miles, plenty of member in this region and still no issues except wear and tear. As for the price it is really dependant on the year and mileage and engine model to decide as there is 3 different + 1 limited edition variations. 10k for 40,000 miles is good if its for talking sake a 54 plate, but may seem high for a 52 plate. It really is down to all of these factors tbh. Mpg varies also, i get about 17mpg average others get 30mpg, its just dependant on your driving style. If your worried about fuel and tax then it will put a dampener on buyin the zed. I bought knowing all these things and i dont grudge filling the car up with 100quid of fuel at a time as i enjoy every moment im in and out the car. Fantastic cars and i have never looked back since i bought it. Its the first car i have ever bought and never thought about selling
