  1. +1 Buster's right on the money here! Thats the exact same set up I run and it's perfect! Thats what i run and i can notice a difference straight away between my track wheels and road/show wheels. Its more noticeable when the cars set up more precisely with different suspension setups. A major factor is the type of tyres being used also. Every tyre has different characteristics and road noise etc. Must be the Dunlops making it all good for me then! Lol stu have you driven one with rays? I'll give you a shot of mine for a drive
  2. +1 run your finger around it and you will feel it straight away. Dont do this when the car is hot though as you may burn your fingers.

  4. just lay next to the car and get someone to slightly rev it , you will be able to pick where the noise is coming from and that should give you a pretty good idea what section is blowing.
  5. lmao Cheeky bastard... thats before the buckfast the more i drink the better i get
  6. irfan.. what on earth where you searching for when you found that
  7. hahahahahaha brilliant. love that guys expression
  8. Its the Gaelic version of top gear the lad was tellin me neil lol. Our cars are fetured in it....... will be out in aug Thats hilarious, brilliant
  9. Start it up and lay underneath and listen for where it's coming from. Common sense would tell you that. I reckon it's the rear weld and the back box. If it's further forward it would sound a lot rougher
  10. I would have posted the stuff on this thread and got myself a warning I should have double checked my spelling but was on the iPhone and in a rage viewtopic.php?f=41&t=45480&hilit=+Master+z&start=15
  11. Perfect I'll say to Jay and get the info and drop it to you
  12. Lol engineer, give me a 1Mw burner to repair any day. To be honest I could probably get the materials and weld something up but if there is pro fabricators with proper welding equipment it will take them 5mins to sort something out. I'd be there for days with my oxy welding kit. It's only really for brazing a/c pipework and soldering heating systems.
  13. Martin can have them made up, its getting them to you that is the problem, and a reason I dont have a set as it would cost a fortune to post. Maybe we should get him to make some for LakeZ if he can and then we can distribute them That would be an idea tbh, it will allow us to utilise the flags we have. I don't imagine that they should be too heavy, just an a-frame or the likes of thshape of an axle stand with a couple of support bars to drive over and secure. Then the pole could go down a tube in the centre
  14. I think Jay bought a sand filled base. We must have some fabricators that can knock something up that the car can be driven over to keep it in place. The only problem in Scotland is that with the wind we constantly have at the likes of Knockhill the pole could come into contact with the car.
  15. There isn't any bases for them though.
  16. Hey Martin, I spied you coming in lol. Thanks for the comments, I will have to get you to send me one the side pic of my car, cracking photo! Evo's looking great mate! I spotted your company logo on the window before I could see if it was your or not lol. It was a shame the show wasn't the same as last year. Don't know if I'll be attending next year. All the big boys were at japfest, we got the rookies I think lol Top work with the photos Edit: the 5th pic down I think, that's a filming crew from a gaelic tv show using my car for the recording lol.
  17. Fair enough but theres a way to say it....and this wasn't it. +1 what about us poor bastards in scotland, we're lucky to get a show a year subsidised Scotlands a black patch on the forum map Hey ho, thats the way it is and you just have to deal with it. I hope that was a sarcastic reply. Scotland DOES get subsidies for shows and the BBQ at the last hoon was paid for by the club. It's not the club or any members fault that Scotland has less shows than England. What about Wales (excluding our big meet) or Northern Ireland? Im sure a lot of scottish members feel like scotland gets left out alot with likes of club banners etc, we only have one moderator for when there's big forum arguments (and a sterling job you do also) and this is purely down to the lack of dedication and numbers we have at shows from our members. This is just the way it is and we have to make do with what we have. My point is that we shouldnt expect to get things subsidised by the forum. Yeah sure every little help but things like BBQ's etc, it's a couple of quid each and this guy max is moaning about it. Obviously the successful events have some cash thrown at them as they want to motivate people to come again and give a little to the members who make the effort. The last run that myself and George done, we went out and spent around 40quid each on stuff for the BBQ to give everyone some grub, all we asked was that the guys could go onto help the heroes donations and donate whatever they could afford. I don't think many people did though but that's besides the point. If I was max I'd be hugely embarrassed about posting about something so minuscule as a couple of quid for food.

  19. Hey Darren, I really feel for you. I have family who are in a similar position. Its very hard to be torn between two parents and you've got to sit your dad down and make him promise to not fly off the handle. Explain that whatever happened between your mum and him is strictly between them. Explain that even though he and you mum dont get on, that you still need a mother figure in your life. Tell him that you appreciate that he raised you and gave you that inspiration to be so successful in your job etc and that you will always be thankful. Sometimes you just need to take a different approach. Make him promise to speak and not shout, ask him to unload the nitty gritty details as it may help for him to offload some of his thoughts. Although you feel your dads pretty pathetic at the moment, you may not understand everything that has happened which has caused him to go this way. He may have some other secrets about what went on which he might not share. Whatever it is explain that you need both of them in your life. You cant choose between parents. I really hope you work this out mate as i cant think of anything worse tbh. Neil
  20. Zmanalex has some up for sale
  21. You can't change it to to a bi-xenon. You can change the bulb colour and get rid if the orange reflector down the side
  22. If it's a facelift 06 then it's the same lights as 07. 500quid is cheap for them mate. Remember these are genuine nissan parts, not cheap replica parts. When you considerthe price of a ballast and lamp from Nissan you will see where the price comes from. I'd expect to pay around 600quid or more tbh
