    What Oil.

Some cars love it and some don't. Fords love the stuff. I used it in my Suzuki and it's fine. I don't know how people can distinguish the differences what made you not like it? Tasted funny It made my poop go purple on a serious note Magnatec is a straight mineral oil. NOT semi synthetic or fully synthetic . It's exorbitantly priced for its specification - imo. A triumph of marketing over product specification. Its fully synthetic mate, says on the bottles http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=46426&hilit=magnatec+for+sale
  3. You should have bought the set from alex for 600 odd

  5. What's the probable price if I added in?
  6. Perfect mate cheers for clarifying all this, it's a Uk 2006 300ps model I have.
  7. All the above discussion is exactly the reason why police shouldn't be able to issue fines there ad then. Imagine a police officer having to digest all this information and have it to hand for when issuing someone a fine. There would be no way of them doing it accurately. I'm afraid the law should be left to the lawyer and QC's to decipher
  8. Thanks mate I appreciate that So I got my uprev done at rs due to them being very close to Scotland, but I'll be down at my bros house in Staines at the start of July, would I be able to call round and pay to get the valet mode put on it and I won't lose use of my cruise control? Cheers Edit: can you guys do recommended track geometry and suspension setup also? I'm having a nightmare of a time trying to get things adjusted?

I always do my checks in the morning before starting the engine. It makes it much easier to get an accurate reading without it smearing all over the dipstick shaft. I'm not too sure what the difference is, if my memory serves me right from a previous convo I'm sure it was 1litre or thereabouts. I usually top up about 250ml after every tank. It's not always as much as that but depends on how I have been driving. I'm sure the like of alex or that will be able to confirm it as they're very experience in the art of zed
  10. Well if you want to go in this direction, you didn't read my first question correctly as it was referring to running a valet mode without losing cruise control. Also, how can I read correctly info that you never put up, you never explained it clearly which you have done in the below post.
  11. There is. Any exhaust that is modified to be louder than standard for its age and type is a failure - its all down to the testers discretion. Quite a new one (last 2 years or so) due to the amount of Barry cans. Police can also pull you over and test db levels as they do with window tints etc Testers discretion - If its down to them then surely there is no set legal limit as it would be either a fail or a pass +1
  12. Would this not be possible to put it as an extra map, so when it's turned on the cruise won't work(for track only so it doesn't matter) but then switch back to normal map without the throttle 1-1 for road use and cruise control would work again?
  13. Is there a way to do this without losing cruise control, is by means of another switch or something?
  14. It's only undertaking illegally if you pull back out in front of them. If the slow lane is moving faster then it's not illegal. sadly, undertaking is really dangerous. I agree they are in the wrong but if they pull back in on you, you are stuffed as it's your fault for being there. It is a very blind area to be in and people simply will not be expecting you to be there. Although how much safer is running the ignorant F***s down, bumper to bumper when they don't move... you cant win. It's like ricey said in his euro trip thread, british driving is appauling. I understand what you're saying, but the fact of the matter is undertaking isn't dangerous. Someone changing lanes without checking for other vehicles is what makes it dangerous. Undertaking (on a motorway) is only as dangerous as overtaking. I've had my fair share of people nearly swerving into me when I'm overtaking/passing because they've not bothered to check their mirrors. Where's the difference? As far as I'm aware, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but if I am in a lane doing a steady speed on a motorway and happen to pass a car who is in the wrong lane, this is neither dangerous nor illegal. It's not 'undertaking' it's driving normally and them being in the wrong lane. I'm not responsible for them being in that lane or what speed they are doing. What if someone in the inside lanes brakes sudednly or slows down? Do I have to slam the anchors on so I don't 'underatake' them?

For topping up I wouldn't think so. My car burns alot due to the way I drive it I bought a large stock of castrol edge to keep me topped up. It was very expensive though. I use about a litre per thousand miles, sometimes more. It's downfall with the rev-up engine.
  16. Lmao iPhone typo! Trust you dawg If only they did enforce the law, equally and fairly. +1 I have mates who are police and they would never be able to get cuffs on me if I resisted due to them being far too small and weak. Police don't had the correct education to analyse the law and that's why so many cases get dropped even before they get to court. I know its a typo but that made me laugh sorry bud

Police don't had the correct education to analyse the law and that's why so many cases get dropped even before they get to court. My dog would help if you want to resit, oh and my law degree would help as well. Thats the way the polce should train their recruits. Law degrees all round, I'd make sure they had a 1st class honours aswell. That way we wouldn't have as many teenagers straight out of school becoming police officers. I would also make sure all officers sat fitness and theory tests yearly. So many fat lazy coppers now it's unreal. So many youths as police who have had zero life experience also.
  19. So why arent they doing anything about it? They have powers to stop the problem you are having, yet they don't. The new additions will therefor help how? As another note - these additions may also interfere with events such as the Wales drive. 50 cars even driving fully legally but with loud exhausts etc could be construed as a nuicance to some, and what better way to up the stats than get 50 fines and tickets in a single swipe. It will be interesting to see how this develops, but I think there could be serious concequences for organised drives for car clubs. I can see that this thread could develop into a real tug of war, so off to work to help solve the problem. Not quite sure of the legal limit for the noise of which exits the rear silencer but it's about 90 decibels which is realy loud. Stood next to a Harley with staight through pipes which was street legal I would think that no one on the Wales trip would exceed this. My japspeed k1 was 112db in cabin on idle

That's correct 5w30 fully synthetic. I have 5 bottles of castrol magnetec for sale very cheap.
  21. If only they did enforce the law, equally and fairly. +1 They can't control kids up here but like to do the likes of a respectable citizen for minor things like standing outside a pub with a pint having a smoke. The local police station was smashed up while the polce were inside. The cars got it aswell. Did they do the culprits.... No! They know exactly who they were but yet they were too scared to follow up. The police force is so corrupt, I know a couple who can get you anything you want, pirate dvd's and the likes. I have mates who are police and they would never be able to get cuffs on me if I resisted due to them being far too small and weak. Their job is to merely watch for people who they have suspect to have broken the law and the move them to the courts where lawyers (analysts of the law) decide if they actually broke the law or not. Police don't had the correct education to analyse the law and that's why so many cases get dropped even before they get to court.
  22. no worries mate, it was just for a rough guide
  23. have you got a rough price on these mate? may be something ill be looking to do after the summer holidays cheers
  24. I had a c2 vts, what did you do to is to get 160 out of it? I spent thousands and only pushed 140. my saxo vtr was pushing 165 but it had serious money in it and destroy 3 gearboxes in 6months. My mini cooper s works was quite heavy but was very quick, much faster than my vtr and cooper s jcw. Once you learn how to drive the zed its very fast. You need to learn to utilize the weight. Up at knockhill there is a couple of clio cups etc and theyre pretty fast but on the straights the zed comes to life and destroys them.
