my guess is that it keeps breaking down as you wont spend decent money on stuff for it. This isnt a dig soley at you but too many people are running these good sports cars into the ground by scrimping on them. I track my car regularly and havent had a thing break on it yet. As said before "buy cheap buy twice" spend the extra, and it will last you much longer. The 120quid is half as much again, but the scorpion at circa 400 quid is still a third of the price of a nissan exhaust let alone the nismo exhaust. You should really consider spending the extra, if the running costs are too high then maybe the zed isnt the car for you in this current economic downturn. Not meaning to sound like an arse but this is happening far too often. Because there is alot of zeds in the 10k price bracket people buy them thinking yeah its a cheap car and dont consider the running costs. I could afford an r35 gtr but i certainly couldnt afford to run it. No point being cheap on the zed as you could buy a second hand exhaust and it could blow within a week. 400 quid for an exhaust with lifetime guarantee is fantastic. A set of tyres costs 3 times that. Rant over

i have been around r35's for a while with mates owning them and then zmanalex having his at knockhill. The r35 is cracking car but for me it lacks the character that the r34 gtr has. Its not raw and wild. Its more refined and eligant. For me i'd buy an r34 gtr first.

at the price nissan are charging for servicing it i reckon there will be a lot of cheap r35's around in another few years. My bud on here just paid 3.4k for his service as it needed new discs and pads car is only 2 yrs old

yep mate that is correct. Most companies dont take the y-pipe into account and just assume its cat back. A full system including y-pipe will set you back over 700 at least.

exhaust manifolds of either side of engine, catalytic converters each side into a Y-pipe, this joins into 1 pipe which then attaches to the mid pip, then to the back box

i put a tank of v-power in mines on friday and it came to 97quid

i had a convo with one of my mates on here who has an r35 gtr. The conversation was on the price of his recent 30k mile service costs... its eye watering the costs and 2 services at that price could buy you a decent second hand 350z

If running eibachs then you will need adjustable drop links as the eibachs put the standards out of allignment and cause excessive wear

0 - 60 times = Willy waving torque and in gear acceleration figures = Standing in the corner playing pocket billiards People who don't like willy waving are usually the people with small ones. Most companies manufacturer Adar and Market it through the 0-60 figure. I know what happens afterwards is fairly important also but on British roads a 0-70 mph figure would be much more appropriate.

All nismo bumpers use the old style reflectors. You know what they say, buy cheap.. buy twice. It's a Shame but it will cost less time and pain if you buy a decent replica. You could spend days on that and then have to give up

Vinyl wrapping is a nightmare to look after. A paint job will always look much better and costs about the same.
