  1. didn't realise kelly brook was in piranah. Might just.. go... and.. find that one...
  2. awesome mate the pictures killed the wireless hub in my work I'm assuming you hadn't modded a car before this one?
  3. I think most higher flowing cats = rasp, unless you have a posh exhaust further down to take it back out.
  4. I'm not trying to be patronising but there is a big difference between a powerfull RWD and FWD. FWD are kiddies toys that can be thrown into corners at any speed, RWD requires some respect. right, that did sound patronising, wasn't meant to but the point still stands
  5. I must be missing the idea of what the garage is then... Isn't it just a page with detail of your car on? Same as a build page? Like the one in my signature? Taking this one as an example http://www.mr2roc.org/phpBB3/garage.php it combines a number of things in an easy to follow way and also introduces new elements at the same time. Picking out sections that are of interest: On the front page you have the summary of all the vehicles in the club, say it's for bragging rights or just to make people enthusiastic about filling in the information for the chance to get on the front page, its still a load of fun. ontop of that, newly joined members can see what a fully modified car looks like and how much it costs to get there in the real world. -Top rated vehicle gives you an idea of what people on the whole like, not necessarily the most costly car. -newest vehicles, like the newest member section on the front page but for the car rather than the member -top dyno runs, this would bring order to the dyno runs thread that is buried away somewhere and fold it into the garage. -most modified vehicle & most money spent, lets you see how those show cars and track cars compare to other members vehicles -The insurance tab gives a fair statisistical view of what insurance really costs us. How tmany threads saying "how much did your insurance blah blah blah", now they can be pointed here for the information they need. So this folds in all those pesky insurance cost threads. -Garage review tab, this nicely organises the garage thread into something readable with attached ratings, also this gets rid of the need for appreciation threads everywhere, if you recieved good service fill in the info. I honestly think an add on to the forum that folds in; dyno threads, appreciation threads, garage review threads, insurance cost threads, build threads, new member vehicle threads & a whole bunch of fun info to chat about, is worth while I appreciate it takes time and I don't suggest it appears overnight Just that it would be good to have.
  6. A build thread isn't the same as a garage really Quite excited if we get this working
  7. I think ricey was saying that the cheapest of cheap BnQ ones are way off Tbh you should have a torque wrench to do any work on the car involving bolts and nuts, the only people who don't need them are seasoned mechanics who have a built in torque wrench in their arm. Watched a guy torque up a defenders wheel nuts with a breaker bar. no one believed he got it right so we checked them, every single one was within 3nm of the target unreal
  8. buy a torque wrench, hit the guy at the "wheel place" with it and never go back there. aluminium ones are far more fragile, don't over torque them, i'm not sure if there is a difference in the torque you should use for them? but from what i've been told they should only be used a certain number of times...
  9. yes, i believe they were required to release DRL's as an add on for older cars by some countries, i think it was canada but could be wrong.
  10. started playing rock around the clock then found i was missing notes EDIT: start wars sounded better but still missing notes
  11. Well in my case for 2 reasons 1. I thought they would have the ability to reset the ECU and 2. my next door neighbour is the servicing manager for the Toyota garage the same group also owns the Nissan dealership so I was after something for nothing (in this case an ECU reset) At least I can still get her to sort my Toyota Hilux - full Toyota main dealer service history you know freebee/discount win

  15. The fact anyone takes their 350z to a Nissan garage when it's out of warranty still amazes me. Why do it?
