  1. i think we are both using chrome. it's definately the forum as it's the only thing I get rid of and the whole internet instanly comes back to life.
  2. never had to restart the whole browser, just the forum tab
  3. Maybe this is just me but.. I leave the forum running on a tab in my browser so whenever the computer is on i'm logged in. after a fair few hours running I find my internet coming to a crawl, I have found that getting rid of the tab with the forum and restarting it solves the problem. almost as if the forum is using all my bandwidth? any ideas?
  4. it is condensation on the lens, the only repair is a new CD unit inside the Bose. the only person able to source these is R35LEE but I believe he is a bit busy at the moment. You can always try throwing him a PM and see if he replies. If you want the Bose aux in mod done You can do it yourself reading here: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=47176&hilit=bose+hack+guide or I can do it for you, see here: viewtopic.php?f=156&t=49273
  5. little being the operative word awesome though, really looking forward to it
  6. swissvax are briliant at this. I got a box that size, full of polystyrene packing tubes, then there was a posh zip closed bag with swissvax on it, inside that there was packaging and a plastic bag, inside the packing in the bag was my tiny tub of non fragile wax. I like it, to me it feels premium

  10. Global warming doesn't mean we will just get warm. It means the unbalancing of the earths weather systems due to the changes going on in the atmosphere. People seem to have this image that it means we will have the weather of the south of france in scotland but it doesn't quite work like that. here it is well summed up http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2 ... t.research
  11. I never ever thought I'd buy a plate as i saw it as the single biggest waste of money on the.... oops I genuinely couldn't resist after I saw it I guess not everyone knows what it says but for those who do it's like getting a private joke, just one that's shared with millions of other internet nerds
  12. it takes a few attempts to get the timing right I think
  13. see if you can stand nearby and watch
  14. check the guide, there is a section at the bottom of it detailing the reset process for this.
  15. I actually had flashbacks of that chat on my way to work. mentally scarring
  16. hangers are the easiest bit by far, all of 5 seconds work. get lithium greas and spray all oever and in the hanger. first push pin further into the hanger to get it unstuck, lube up the bit that shows. use a bar to the rubber off. really simple.
  17. low blow you need to download the workshop manual really.
  18. in no particular order -don't lose the washer from under the top bolt of the headlights -the bolts holding the front bumper on underneath will probably rip the bumper apart, be careful -line the headlight up correctly with the bodywork before tightening down -take the front wheels off, it's far far far quicker in the long run as its the only way you will be able to reach the connector under the lights easily -jack the front up high, much easier access
  19. i already knew 4 of the people who commented. here's the thread. fair amount of normal responses but there were a few annoying opinionated people http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topi ... 9935&mid=0
