    Led question

oh, and the LED's have 2 wires because they only have a +ve and -ve. where as the plug in your home has a +ve, -ve and earth (to protect you from zapping yourself)

    Led question

SMD means surface mounted device, they are the type that are soldered directly onto circuit boards and dont have wires trailing from them. The most common type of LED is 5mm. for simplicity look for ones that already have the correct resistor for 12V (or whatever voltage you want to work at) attached with wires to connect up with. for a power supply you can go shopping at maplin or ebay as suggested for a 12V or 5V or whatever rating you want to go with. They will have a mA rating aswell but if you arent using many LED's it barely matters about this. There are other things you can use but i dont want to go telling you to stab wires in random plugs.
  6. really liking the handbrake, and i'm a right picky bastard when it comes to the interior I'd have it with white stitching but thats just so it matches the rest of mine, shall look it up

  10. we look back on his life and respect the fortunes (or misfortunes) that lead us to the man we love today that is Waseem first, we look into his childhood. His mother got him into cars at a young age, for which we are all eternally grateful. while his father lead him to the world of computers sometimes questions were asked of the young waseem, the world just didnt make sense to the boy now a grown man it was time to buy his first car, which after 15 minutes of driving found its peace with the help of waseem his first experience of snow on the road didnt go very well but where there is failure there is a lesson to be learned sadly however he didnt learn this lesson, but with the help of those around him he soldiered on through the hard times he then got into modding, this wasnt the most straight forward and possibly not the wisest of decisions, but none the less he gave it a go with the spirit and determination he is well know for. and that leads us to the waseem we know and love today.

  19. Shamefully I didn't. I didn't have access to the computer so tried to remember Huskys highly useful guide and I nipped to Focus and got some wire wool.......I got home and realised he used varying grades of sandpaper and not wire wool.......then I remember what a useless git I am and put the wire wool in a draw where it would be safe away from me and the exhaust. Roll after roll of Bounty was used instead looks pretty good to me. I still cant believe the look of liquid metal when i was done. my old landlord has a ruined living room floor for that too should have taken a pic of the damage to the tounge and groove really
