  1. Click me! But don't have a mouth full of coffee at the time.
  2. Brilliant! The image I have in my head will keep me smiling all afternoon, thanks
  3. Looks superb A friend and I are planning to do Miami to LA in May next year behind the wheel of a V8, the Mustang was pretty high on our list, not sure now after reading your driving review
  4. Just in case you're still on the fence I vote for Abbey too. Wouldn't trust any real work on mine to anyone else.
  5. Thanks for the heads up, I have the tools on their way and worst case scenario will be a massive tube of superglue and some expanding foam
  6. So I was heading to my mates house to wash my car (can never get close enough to my house to use the bloody hose) and by chance happened to jam my buckets sideways under the rear strut to stop them rolling about and suddenly noticed as I was driving that the squeak had gone. YAY! I'm assuming it's just part of the trim that's squeaking so I'll take it apart over the weekend after I get some trim tools, there's a guide on here somewhere telling you where to be careful and I'll look that out later when I have time. My question, before I build my excitement at being squeak-free up too much, is are there potentially any parts of the bar proper that may need tightening or rescrewing etc once I get the trim off or should it be a sturdy, solid construction that I will just need to rehang my trim from with liberal dashes of foam tape and blutack included this time? Ta muchly
  7. Beautiful, thanks for the pics I looked as the 3200s a couple of years ago before deciding on a Z, they are wonderful cars but the maintenance costs are amongst the highest I've seen. Not saying don't get one (you may be able to afford what I can't justify ) but be sure to go into it with your eyes open.
  8. The cover at the base is designed to slide back and allow the arm to be pulled up a great deal further but it gets stuck over time. As long as you can see the clips though there's no real need for you to pull it up any more than an inch or two to replace the blade.
  9. It will do mate, it just needs a little more force. Mine was the same, felt like I was about to snap it before it finally gave in.
  10. I have no choice but to listen to a very annoying squeak from somewhere in the back. I thought it might be the spoiler screws so I tightened them on Wednesday night and all seemed fine yesterday. Got in the car this morning and it had returned with a vengeance. Might have to pull the trim off the strut bar and see what happens. I also had the Black Eyed Peas fruitlessly trying to drown it out this morning.
  11. Hmmmm... tempting. Will see what I can sort out for the weekend.
  12. Well.. the end result was as expected for the boat owner so it wasn't a complete disaster
  13. 53 plate Kuro outside the hairdressers in Walton on the Hill.

  16. Also, visit Scotland. Edinburgh's great for drinking and all up and down the west coast are superb roads for driving
  17. Liking them a lot, shame there's no orange option
  18. Afternoon all, This is just taking up space since I got the new one so if anyone wants a 32" CRT with remote that weighs the same as a small hatchback then you're free to come pick it up by appointment. All works fine. I'm in Tadworth in Surrey and no, it won't get in the back of your Z
  19. Ah appologies i didnt see your link! And after reading it i take it all back, the links i had seen were basically saying people had been taken threatened and when they were about to go to court it was all dropped (and thrown out of court/ never got there) as the police were using the law in a way it was not meant to be used. Tsk... will forgive you this time
  20. Interesting, do you know this as fact? or is this what you have heard. As everywhere i have read basically says they try to scare you but as soon as you start to put up a fight then it all goes away. As "perverting the course of justice" is not meant to be used on such menial things like this, and by all accounts cant just be used on its own. But as i have said i am by no means knowledgble on this, I only know what i have read. Err.. the link is to a report of a successful prosecution for this offence so it's fact.
