Streuth, can't believe how well the chassis stood up! Seeing it up close I was worried what it would look like under the 'crinkly' bits. Just goes to show how solid these cars are. I will be following the thread with great interest!

Hi Andy, it was good to see you at Gurston yesterday, just gutting about the car. As Chris said, take a few days and have a chat with him. One way or another it can be resurrected. Still can't believe it flipped! Roof looked immaculate. You might change your mind when you see the state of the spoiler, looks okay in the pics, but close up it's been...rearranged. Not really, the construction of the Elise is massively strong. My dad had an off in his 4 1/2 years at Gurston (although a slightly earlier place on the hill, just before Hollow) and went off around 80mph sideways into the chalk bank. Like Andy, they checked him out and kept an eye on him, but otherwise okay.

I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I saw the name Pimm in the spotted thread! Welcome to the fold, now just tell your OLD man to sort himself out and get a proper car again

Cobra system seems to be popular, good balance of sound/quality/price/looks. I haven't seen many with the Kinetix, so couldn't comment on how they would go with them, but plenty with Berks and I imagine it wouldn't be massively different..

I've got the Berks and yes they do, but it's not 100% If you're getting an UpRev though, it's not really something to worry about too much. Berks do seem to be the most popular, they have a bit of a rasp to them which I love, but some don't like. If you want less/no rasp, look at the ARK decats, they are a chunk more £ though. ETA: Yes they do come with CEL fix and gaskets, can't remember on the bolts.
