Slight thread hi-jack so apologies but a question regarding the thread. As I am running a K&N typhoon the air filter is still in the same place as the original but there is a scoop that goes behind the grill. As this isn't a sealed scoop I am presuming that although you may get some water in the scoop it wouldn't suck loads of water into the engine. The scoop isn't sealed onto the air filter either. I am not planning on taking my car through a deep pool anytime soon to test this theory just a thought in my head!!

I would say that can fixed by a decent bodyshop. Also I think it will be cheaper for you to fix it than buy my rear bumper and have it totally sprayed as mine is GM. They should be able to just spray the repaired bits and blend into the rest of the bumper.

Glad you got it all sorted mate. Give me a shout when you have the plenum if you want, always like having a tinker myself and I have swapped mine and fitted a spacer, I am not saying I won't break it though!!!

I have just had a lot of work done on my car by Mitz (CS). Had a full bodykit sprayed and fitted. He is a top notch guy and was always on the phone to me to keep me posted with progress. Although not a trader on here Andy who does some of the work for Mitz is a great guy and his work is faultless. Never known such a perfectionist, it was literally like it was his car he was working on. Can't recommend CS enough.

When i fitt mine I was a screw driver with bolt attachment. That way you can't really over tighten them as the screw driver should just slip in your hand. That is unless you have a grip like a gorrilla!!!!

Have you made sure that you haven't trapped the ruuber surround of the oil in the upper plenum. No air leaks or hissing sounds from around the plenum?

What about change your front bumper to one that shows it off. If not show it!!

There has been a massive thread regarding genuine and replica on here recently. I haven't experienced it first hand but some genuines can be a pig and will also need some manipulation to fit. I have just had a full Veilside V3 replica fitted and its fine. There are some bits that aren't ideal (i.e. Skirts aren't ideal in the doors but can't tell from the outside) but then again I know someone who has had problems with the same genuine skirts. Same boots and bonnets, seen genuine ones that don't quiet line up. All down to personal choice and if you go down replica route then make sure you use a tried and tested replica.

I don't think even the mighty Zed will be able to avoid the rain drops. Might be worth a try though. I am hoping that Nurrish picks a nice day for the meet so that I can get the top down for that.

I was actually surprised that there wasn't that much difference in terms of top end between the 350 and 370 in the game. It was a little quicker 0 - 60 though. Just wish I could drive as well I do in the game!!!

All you need is an Xbox360, Forza 3 and select test track. Gets 172 before you start losing speed on the corner. Apparently one of the most realistic games in terms of handling and car specifications so that ties in well with the 170/180 stories.
