you would be best getting a SatNav from Nurrish. I have one of his systems in along with plenty of other members on here. Its a great system and priced well.

I have this set-up (without the HFCs) on my JDM it sounds great, so much better than standard and not crazy loud. Just deeper than standard and then when you get above 4k it sounds great.

I have a 53 and when I first Dyno'd it last year it got 270 at the fly, it was running on standard unleaded as well as that is what the previous owner used. I was quiet happy with that. Hopefully not its been running on the good stuff and once I manage to get to Abbey it should be all good.

Wouldn't say thats true at the front wheels not moving as seen loads of Zeds Dyno'd and not have this problem. new plugs can have a big difference on performance. Also if you have mods like the exhaust and air filter you could actually lose power compared to stock without a re-map. Abbey can sort you out a re-map, take the limiter off and give you greater response for about £400. Can't remember exact price but they have a package on one of their threads. Well worth a look at anyway though. Don't be too gutted, I am sure its easily rectified with the right knowledge.

Yeah nice bonnet Nurrish. It looks really weird seeing your car with a body coloured bumper!! Hope its ok for you anyway.

Yeah if your planning on tracking it again get yourself down to Abbey, for about £350/£400 it will be well worth it.

Yeah he is spraying it. I can't wait to get it back, been without it for about a week and miss it!! Just can't wait to see what it will look like with the new bonnet. Getting some money coming in from bumpers and old bonnet soon so will be giving you a PM to spend some more green on Carbon Goodies.

I have got the OEM one. Not sure on price yet, having a few other bits and bobs done at the same time so need a final bill. I tend not to ask as it makes me cry!!!!!

I'm leaning that way I think. I've never really been a big lover of carbon, well not on my car at least, and also not a fan of the max power vents sticking out all over the place. I might start a hunt for something subtle and see what pops up, or maybe just buy a bulging bonnet and respray it...... I have just bought a bonnet bulge and currently having it sprayed. Cant wait to see what it will look like, when I get it back. Where abouts did you buy the bonnet from mate? I got mine through CS.

I don't think you get full throttle in 1st and 2nd gear. Mark at Abbey will know loads more as he is currently mapping the ECU and giving you a lot more response in 1st and 2nd. I am no expert but think thats the case, sure someone will come along in a while to explain more or you could PM Mark at Abbey.

I don't like eyebrows usually but I think they look good on yours. Just because it carries on the lines of the bonnet nicely. Have you seen you bonnet is back up?!?

Yeah got OEM Front and rear bumper and OEM side skirts. Had them in the garage for a while so just going to put them up on Ebay like the bonnet. Hopefully get a little more this time round. Surprised that I didn't get any more interest when I put it up for £150 for the lot!! Most people are wanting aftermarket by the looks of things on here recently.

I just used the original gasket when I fitted mine. Don't you need to swap like you say.

Nice looking Zed. Any roadsters owners that don't put the roof down when it's dry no matter what the weather is a coupe wanna be!!!!! I surprised Nurrish the other day cause my roof was down and it was only 2 degrees. Heated seats and turn the heaters up!!!!!

If you want to keep a stock look then a K2 is the way to go. Also not too loud but gives you a better noise after about 3500rpm. Pair that with a Japspeed Y pipe and I think you will have what you are after!! Its the same set-up I have and I am very happy with the sound, not sure about performance yet as haven't been to Abbey but trying to get booked in asap.

The gear change into 2nd when first starting is a common problem. Although after the first sometimes 2nd change into 2nd gear mine is fine. I don't usually have a problem changing down into 2nd mainly just up when cold. I do think that 2nd gear is probably the most common problem gear though (in terms of changing gear). Sure others will be along soon with more info.

And what's the general consensus on this then? It was set on 6500 when I found it. Thats about right you don't want it too low otherwise it will just be flashing loads!! You don't have to go up to the mark all the time though so just set it high!!!

I have had a JDM for the last year, completely trouble free motoring. The battery didn't last the winter and its very small compared to the UK cars. Upgraded that and all is fine. As people have said smaller fuel tank and very silent exhaust, apart from that just the same as the UK car.
