  1. I wouldn't say justify as its not exactly OEM. Its just the budget can increase as there is now no need for it to fund other things!!
  2. Your safe, just sticking with my GM and having it all touched up!!
  3. Thats actually already in plan, had that secured before hand!!
  4. far too many good suggestions to pick from. But I think we have a winner................................ Ian Very closely followed by Neilp
  5. Well now that I am a newly single man (not because of the car I might add, otherwise that would have been fair enough!! ) I don't have anyone to justify what I spend on the car to anyone apart from me!! So what should be the first thing?
  6. I did thankfully although I was a little worried at one point. The only problem is I had to put standard petrol in for the first time in my ownership!! I only put enough in to get me home and then promply threw in some super again, didn't want any ill feelings from my girl!!!
  7. It doesn't matter if I do turn up, I will have either left early or won't even make the show cause of my new boobies!!
  8. If the Sunset doesn't come runner up or better at Thoresby next year you will regret it!!
  9. It's stunning in the flesh! The only annoying about them is only being able to do 126mph before it rips the roof off. Might as well just make a permanent roadster if thats the case!!!
  10. I also got a billy bargain, 53 JDM GM Roadster with 11k on the clock for £10,520. Sounds like a reasonable price you paid. If you paid it and your happy then thats all that matters.
  11. Its like the cars were all built by different people and the instructions had a couple of pages missing!!
  12. £397 Yeah but consider all the costs of other mods that don't give you any more performance, cheap as chips in comparison.
  13. I don't think mine has any headlight indicator light on the dash, can't remember for sure though.
  14. Love it, the only thing thats a lie is that you will get extra MPG. The car sounds so good you can't help but give it some beans.
  15. You can expect to receive more information than you can process, to see a genius at work and drive out a completely different car. It will also weigh a little less cause of your wallet but its easily the best mod per pound.
  16. Cheers bladesgrant but you never know mite have b in the orange club yet n no worries on the competition side that's unless you grow your hair long n invest in a pair of nice boobies you won't stand a chance so you best start taking them tabs c you at cad If I had boobies do you think I would ever make a show? I don't think I would make it out of the house!!!!
  17. Me and Mark already have all the rights to the string and how its tied. I am sure we could arrange a GB though, we are currently out of stock so there is a 12 week lead time!!!
  18. Congrats Mitch for runner up in the drop top section, bet your glad you didn't swap it now!!! I won't be leaving early next year so be prepared for some competition!!!
  19. Marky is a knot legend. My bonnet was rock solid after this on-site mod. Just a shame I left before the drop top category!!!
  20. Looking very Buddy. Thanks for all your help my new HU and bottles, couldn't have done it without you. Even got a Lunch out of it!!
  21. I think its just short of £400 including VAT. Will make all the difference in how the car drives.
  22. The paint work doesn't look that good and would need some proper detailing to get it looking good again.
  23. PM will sit in your outbox until its been read. Not sure about Lee.
  24. Thats a good price. I moved to Chris Knot last time and I got a very good quote and the modifications didn't increase it that much at all.
  25. fair enough, things are often misinterpreted on car club forums, it is wise to point out in this case that running with an undeclared exhaust potentially means running with a void insurance policy. The only advice to give in this case would be to cancel and insure with a modification friendly insurer. Just depends on the cancellation policy in place, not worth cancelling if its going to cost you. Just keep saving the money and then put a few mods on when your policy expires and move to another insurer that allows mods, try Sky Insurance!!
