  1. That's the method for US spec cars and totally different to UK spec! From experience, even if you get into registration mode you may have completely the wrong type of key... There's at least 2 different types that look the same. Ahh, it's good to have some confirmation on that, thank you!
  2. Awesome stuff, good luck with those forthcoming qualifiers then!
  3. Gave up trying to get the car into registration mode, and Falcon sorted the spare out for me. Has anyone actually successfully used this method to register a key? I may have just been rubbish in general in it's application, but it would be nice for some confirmation!
  4. Starting to look like a work of art! Good luck with that wiring!
  5. Yep, all round good episode, a large improvement!
  6. Well, just to provide a flip side, dealt briefly with the Nissan Evans Halshaw on Wessington Way, Sunderland & the one in Sherburn, Durham; both experiences were fine really. The gent from the Durham branch who came out on the test drive with me wasn't pushy at all, and dealing with the service department twice @ Wessington Way was fine as well. Really just depends who you talk to in the end!
  7. Just another thumbs up; since they've been so helpful again! Steve especially, sorted the powersteering out and then took the car in again when it had a bit of a relapse. All good now. And they had the car valeted each time. It's never been cleaned so often! If you need any work done in the North East, you'd be barmy to go anywhere else.
  8. Great looking site, quite an improvement on the previous implementation!
  9. Aye, been there, done that - but with the powersteering top. Topped up, forgot about lid - went for a drive, and got a rear-view of the top being obliterated on the A167! R35LEE to the rescue in that instance!
  10. Hmm, very nifty piece of kit, quite reasonable price too! Think I may invest at some point as well.
  11. Hmm, just coming back to the whole coding spare key thing. Refering to this in particular: http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Programming_a_new_keyfob Had no luck getting into the registration mode, is there a dance or sacrafice required before hand? This is intended for the 2 button key jobby aye? Bought an ebay special and had it cut, just need the magic touch now it seems!
  12. Afraid not sir, I have ze cloth seats, which affords me at least 10 extra horses. Maybe.
  13. Daily since Oct 09, makes the commutes a little brighter for me. Plus, Most of my route is B road, with a short stretch of dual carriage - perfect!
  14. Once again, quite enjoyed it. The Albanian sections were a bit silly, but enjoyable all the same. Probably the only criticism I could level was that I don't think Ross was much of a guest.
  15. Awesome stuff, look forward to future updates!
  16. Well done, loving the Schumacher-esque dominance of the 350 trophies!
  17. Yep, definitely avoid Sandybridge based systems. It could be March before upgraded chipsets hit the market - but too risky for my liking, with old stock out there! Personally staying as is with PC atm. Bought this system in Jan 2009 and even now the 4870x2 is still bang on in any game at 2560x1600. Though, ATI cards being what they are, I have to tone the shadows down!
  18. I've stayed OEM (sort of?) with a Nissan Connect from a Note. They do pop-up on Ebay and breakers every so often. A friend sorted out the wiring for me, Voodoo magic as far as I'm concerned!
  19. Good stuff - your mate next door seems like the handy sort to know!
  20. Just wanted to say a big thank you to R35LEE and the ladies & gents of Falcon for taking care of my Zed. Well on the way to sorting out a little power steering issue, belts & the drivers side window finally behaves itself. Even a bonus valet too! Customer service is A1 as well. Result!
  21. Enjoyed it, rally bit was definitely a highlight.
  22. Agree, write the day off! Sure, have those days every so often, though strangely it's never petrol prices that are in my mind. It's a V8 that's in my mind!
