i got a k2 , prefer the tips compared with the scorpion , however the scorpion will be a better overall fit straight out the box. K2 slightly cheaper and can be had for £200 on ebay , some people have had major fitment problems, mine went on with only slight modification to hangers with a big hammer

damn dont tell me that i have one waiting to go on !! who else has had japspeed y pipe problems ????!!!!!!!

i paid £192 for my brand new k2 on ebay delivered , 2 fast 2 cool have regular auctions keep your eyes peeled this is the ebay japspeed shop. I needed to bend the hangers slightly on mine with a hammer to get it to sit closer to bumper but no biggy and was expecting a nightmare fit. i also have the japspeed y pipe again ebay £92 delivered , waiting for the weather to pick up before i fit. love the sound of k2 gets better with miles , not too loud.

where did you get your front splitter etc from Jak ? and how much ?

good value for money with the size of the bar but to be honest i didnt get on with it , found it hard to shape and felt very dry IMO I use megs or sonus green and find them a lot more user friendly , as said above, you can always use a bit of shampoo mixed with water for a cheap clay lube if you havent got any.

yeah im on sp4 at the moment for normal driving so i dont OD on SP7 Do the supplied sticky pads mark the interior trim if removed ? , i havent stuck it down with anything yet but/if i sell the Z in the future dont really want to damage the trim below the air con controls whats everyone used ?

Fitted my throttle controller today , and i must say for the money im very very impressed ! Gives the Z more of an aggressive thump of power somehow especially on SP7 Setting , i was a bit sceptical about getting one but it just works. Im in love with SP7 setting ! , should be like this from factory ! So another thumbs up for this controller , this has got to be an absolute must mod for the Z I know it doesnt give you any more power but the car definately feels quicker and improves the overall driving experience which is what its all about. Quick question tho , im assuming on 'nor' setting this is basically reverting to factory settings as if the controller is not fitted ? also i didnt get the grey plastic plugs above the accelerator pedal to click together, i definately have them the right way round but just expected them to be a better fit with a positive click ?

i use the menzerna range - This sample kit is very good http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing ... d_220.html i tend to use this polish the most out of the kit - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing ... d_217.html very good all rounder and will get you good results with the Da polisher with a polishing pad. look at this chart for comparison , i found it quite usefull http://www.auto-geek.net/charts/wax-cut ... master.htm The 85rd by the way hasnt as much cut as the 106fa , its good for very light swirls, i use to use it but moved to the 106fa as it has more cut and quicker results. The 85rd is good for using after the 106fa if required , or after you have corrected your Zed with 106fa you may only regularly need the 85rd

OK, Y-pipe now fitted. It's pretty much as Yokomo said: only marginally louder, a little more aggressive and a tad raspier. Haven't really tried yet, but feels a little re urgent. Cheers, Alex thanks for the feedback , mine turned up this week and looks good , just need to pluck up the courage to brave the cold and get the tools and grinder out

what do people do when fitting side skirts and rear spats , get them sprayed then fit to the car, or fit first fill in any imperfections with tiger seal etc then get the kit sprayed on the car in a booth ? do nismo style skirts and spats bolt on or do they need bonding with tiger seal or similar ?

yeah i had real joy doing the K2 so expecting a world of hurt again with the Y pipe Got my grinder now too will see how the sound is after the Y pipe , i already have the 06 airbox and drop in filter , may get a Typhoon kit just for the sound...must resist..
