was looking at the y pipe for the tuning/ bhp aspect to go with some other mods i have planned shortly as a matter of interest , how much louder to HFC make to the overall sound i.e berks ?

Already got a Japspeed K2 which im quite pleased with ,just wondering how much louder the exhaust will be by adding a Y pipe ? Dont want it stupidy loud!

Thanks for the comments guys always run on it on v power as shell is my nearest petrol station yeah still going ahead with the mods, will probably give abbey a shout in next couple of months as they have the hub dyno

they did 3 runs , yeah i have some bits planned for it plenum spacer , lower collector , y pipe and remap but just a bit fed up that with all those bits fitted, going off these dyno figures i will be lucky to get stock bhp figures. I know its not all about pub figures , but the numbers bother me !

Hey Guys, got my Z on the rollers this week Only achieved 266bhp and mines the 296 bhp GT4 uprev version Mod's HKS panel filter and Japspeed K2 exhaust. Now i know im never going to achieve the manufacturers figures but hoped i would at least get 280 at the fly. They did struggle to keep it steady on the rollers and had to have a couple of attempts at tightening the belts , How much of an effect does the tension of the belts affect the figures ? Car has 32k on the clock , have i a duffer ?! i didnt even make non rev up figures ! I notice from looking at other peoples graphs their runs were done in 4th gear , mine was done in 3rd does it make a difference what gear is selected ? Any comments ? , i'm really sulking now !

Love the honesty............. Seriously though how would they ever tell your car had been remapped? The ECU looks is the standard unit so short of plugging it in there no way they could tell. +1

Thinking about buying both the MRev2 and plenum spacer for my GT4 uprev shortly. Out of interest , where do people source these from ? Any uk stockists or do i have to import from the US ? Also will the ecu adjust fueling etc ok with these fitted ? realistically wont be going for a remap till Feb/March.

Yes went on ok , i did knock both hangers down a bit so the tail pipes sit closer to the bumper inserts and doesnt droop down like some i have seen. The alignment of the pipes horizontally is spot on , when stood at the back of the car if being ultra picky the right tail pipe is about 10 mm further inside the bumper than the left but hardly noticeable I probably will take it off again at some point and have another fiddle with the hangers. Fitting DIY perfectly possible if you have a highlift jack , and access to some good tools. Sound wise i love it , sounds deeper than stock , not loud on idle and gives a nice sound when booting it. for £184 quid on ebay i am pleased with it , looking at getting the matching Y pipe soon too.

Had a passenger ride in one yesterday , was still getting run in , they are are pure beast !, still felt quick even without redlining it ! Cant wait to have a ride when its run in and in 'race mode'

i found this too thinking its bound to be cheaper parking it in a secured garage WRONG ! driveway around £30 quid cheaper ! Found this with multiple insurers too , wonder if its claims for paint tins falling on cars or garage roofs caving in on cars during high winds?

thats etching , doubt you will remove that , i would go straight in with the big guns and try a dab of wonder wheels neat i find bilberry quite mild think you will end up refurbing , once refurbed a good wheel sealant and regular washing will keep them pristine
