  1. that what i thought its not a hude spet up liek going to 20's and plenty run 19 ... hmm those gtrs are soo tempting ... about £600 for forged rims does seem a lil too chepa to be true but as far as i can see its legit and the 18 i picked up felt light.
  2. looking to get some new wheels very soon and currently stuck bewteen some rota grid 18*8.5/9.5 vs some dotz gtr but in 19*8.5/9.5. was going to stay away from the dotz due to size and extra weight but have just seen the gtr in person and its light as heck ... they are proper forged rims ! so it seems silly to pass up some forged rims at the silly price they cost but think maybe the 19's will alter the handling ina not so good way . it is howver only 1 extra inch so am i just being silly or wil it be noticeble ? ps its bumpy and pot holed to hell where live so this is also a big factor . whats everyone thought son this especially those with either rims .
  3. well after persuading (read bending ) the power stering fuild res to move the rest of the install was pretty simple really..... will ahve to atke it out at some point though to pop a drain hole/plug in the bottom.
  4. Alex just got the same cusco tank in th epost and have realsied there no way to drain it !
  5. iPhone not so good but I can confirm my attendance
  6. ah so it was yours at mod nats , looking good .
  7. seibon ! they do veilside rep , vs style .
  8. go veilside rep , prob the most subtle one out there i think.
  9. needs new rims bad .. still undecided which . thinking rota grid or ultraliek gt2
  10. the Z is a meaty car all roujd just man handle the bint and youl learn to love it , brakes as other siad could be worn pads/discs . mind arent super snappy bite your head off but hawl up pretty good i think once you press down hard rember the Z aint light !
  11. you wont find any of the name brands wiht TV already on baord only the cheapy ebay jobies (having said that a friends has just got sucha china ebay job and it works rather well) youl have to get a seperate DVB tuner plenty about but they are way overpriced so if you can non ICE branded one it will be muhc better value (alpine , pionner kenwood are all £200 + for just a tuner)
  12. ok so you know what your doing at least , id still reommend bining the bose sub for a small proper one though. there are plenty of units that will do everything i one bar card slots but tbh your best with an ipod or as harddrive, hardrive being the cheatest and saves mesing about wiht itune sand video on the ipod. pioneer seem to be the best all in ones out there , kenwood do some i dont think theyre higher end units have sat nav so youd need the add on , with your budget id be tempted by the alpines , they will need add ons for both B and nav but the i tihnk the new nav add in also add BT and unlike others physically slots inot the front of the HU ! http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine-iva-w505r.html wihtn this http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine- ... kbird.html will do nav ,usb , ipod , BT .
  13. huge choice with that budget infact that will probably let you get any unit out there bar some of the extreme audiophile stuff. one question though , if your going for the high end HU whata re you plans/budgte for the rest of the system as it would be a huge waste not to swap out the speakers and amp . youd rally not get your monies worth out fo the HU if you didnt.

Abbey are 1 of the 2 lice ced uprev tuners in the uk . If you book with them ( getting my self booked soon as I get paid ) they load uprev to your car then make a custom map for it but since you can't get there ypu can buy from uprev the the mappi g software and cable to tune yourself ,using thecable in the kit and a pc abbey could then make you a custom map and email it to you so you can load it. Make sense

I'd go hr if you can afford it , tune wise if it was me I'd buy the full kit direct from uprev then do some logs and send them to mark @ abbey who I belive could then make you a map for a fee .

well they definatly end up higher as you said , ive not seen any that have more than just the cats /exhaust tune. guess you'd have to ask MArk from abbey what he thinks for a real answer . they defaintly end up wiht nice figures , i mena dumping 1-2k inot get maybe 300 on the de is kinda saddening for me 3.5 litres , tuned up and abrely breaks 300 pretty poor but HR is quite respectfull imho but heyits fun right , im going to book mine in to soon just hope she does OK .
  17. be good to hear a true comparisom from somone whos gone from the Z as i bet like me alot of others considered the S2k , good luck (they tune quite nicely too i bet

somthing like that AFAIK the HR tunes up a lil better than the DE due to reving higher so should give you the kinda power the Z deserves.

  22. you probably not wrong , theres a parts weight thread on my350z , oem vs a vis carbon both same weight gave or take. some are definatly lighter like the varis was just wondering if the normal seibons are.
  23. looking great , have to ask though did you check weight vs the old one ? im guessing lighter but some carbon are not so was wondering if the seibons are lighter .
  24. Indeed mines on my back window though , oy had the one one spottedcar or I would have had them under my wiper
