some of mine on track from same event ! also got a bit of a lean on , dint really notice any brake fadealthough i dont think i was pushing the brakes qute as hard and i have drilled discs up front and dixcel slotted rears again ferrodo ds2500 alround. braided hoses me thinks the way to go.

So 255/40 rear and 245/40 front ?

255 was on the rear 9.5 but point taken it should fit . What do most people run on 9.5's ?

yup thats the right width for a 8.5 and the rears i 9.5 275 , your 255's musta have looked pretty strectched. just a shame its a bank holdiay weekedn as mean i have to wait longer for the refurb , soo gona look good once there back though.

im assuming this is the rear most people run for wider 9.5" rears and 245/40 up front on 8.5's. thing is so far all i can really see available is the falken 452's and some silly khumo thingys. so what are people with 9.5 /8.5 18's running and what do they think of them , never tried the flaken ebfore so a little weary . ps got a rare tasty colour for the refurb of my GTR's just hope i get them back in time for trax. 275 40

id say go custom or try and find a used one , or you mihgt be abel to get a scoprion + japseepd Y pipe for that.

few of us have 8's there only way i could see a 10 would be either faceing upwards or at some really harsh angle but as you said lots of space if you will to put the effort to use it.

My berks have the anit foulers build in but as you mentions have thrown a CEL but engine reset cleared it, as for rasp ... first time i took the car over 4k i pulled over and stopped as i thought somthing was forked ! at certain revs it rasps like mad , but again this is probably just the metalic substrate which incendintly you can see clean through the gaps in !

The low volume is easily avoided by simply choosing a headunit with good high voltage pre outs of 4-5v mine us just as loud as it was pre change .

Yes there is a tiny amp attached to the plate in the sub which gets a filters signal from the main amp. You can keep everything and just change the headunit just getvthe right loom and a head unit with front and rear pre outs

I have berks too , anti foulers build in too although I did get a cel a few weeks back but I cleard that with a reset .
