  4. Just in time for the spangly new site to come on line, it is with regret that I am going to have to sell my zed, as the requirement for more room and some back seats has caught up with me. All a bit gutting really but it will hopefully go to a good home and maybe in the future I'll be in the position to look for another one. It's undoubtedly been the best car I've ever owned. So, the details: 2004 350Z Coupe in Gun Metal Grey UK model – not an import. 80500 miles (may increase slightly). Full, documented service history. Recent gearbox and diff oil change at Horsham Developments. Taxed until March 2013 MOT until September 2013 Car was completely stock when I bought it in April 2009. It has never seen the track during my ownership, although it would certainly be pretty much ready to go if that’s the direction you want to take it. Much of the mileage has been clocked up by trips to/from Germany, where it certainly proved itself as a comfortable GT car! Although I know I would probably make more reverting the car to its original form and selling the parts separately, it seems a real shame to do so given how good it is to drive now. Performance: UpRev remap carried out by Abbey Motorsport with dyno print-outs included. Headline is 265bhp at the hubs, which translates to roughly 300bhp at the flywheel. The real difference is in the much improved torque curve and the steadier AFR. Exhaust system features Kinetix HFCs, an HKS Y-pipe and a JapSpeed K2 backbox and mid section. The HFCs improve the airflow whilst remaining MOT legal and overall the exhaust is a bit louder than stock without too much rasp or drone. Motordyne plenum spacer. Picture shown without plastic engine cover but this can be supplied if required. K&N panel filter in stock air-box. Has been run on super-unleaded. Handling: Bilstein PSS10 (B16) adjustable coilover suspension. My favourite modification to the car, these are 10-way adjustable and significantly improve handling without sacrificing much in the way of ride. Car is currently running around 1†lower than stock height all round but can be dropped further with the C-spanners included. These are about £1500 a set new and are a quality piece of kit. Original suspension can be included if the buyer wants it. K-Sport 8-pot black front callipers, 2-piece discs and braided hoses. Brake fluid is RBF 600. Rear brakes are upgraded with Ferrodo DS2500 pads, EBC grooved and dimpled discs and braided hoses. Z-Speed aluminium undertray, much more robust than the original plastic one and features a very handy flap to allow easier oil changes. Eibach front and rear adjustable ARBs (swaybars, if you will) fitted by CS that tighten up the handling significantly, particularly when paired with the PSS10s. These are mated with Powergrid adjustable drop links (from Alex). Original ARBs can be included. A number of the standard bushes have been replaced with SuperPro bushes. The rear camber arms are Eibach adjustables to allow proper wheel alignment with lowered suspension. Rays lightweight alloys with Falken 452s all around. Rear tyres just replaced. Exterior: From the outside the car is pretty much as stock, the only cosmetic additions being the stubby aerial, the clear front reflectors and the CF b-pillar covers. Regularly washed and looked after with snowfoam, Megs and PoorBoys products. Interior: Nismo GT shift knob. Alpine CDE-103BT head unit to replace the awful original one. Feature Bluetooth handsfree phone connectivity and is wired in so that the steering wheel controls are still functional. iPod connector is routed to the cubby behind the handbrake. Original HU can be included. Floor mats, boot carpet and tonneau cover all included and in good condition. Bad Bits: For an 8-year old car it is in a very tidy condition overall, however as you’d expect there are a few blemishes and I’d like to be as honest as I can: Some very small car-park dents on the doors (2 on driver side, 1 on passenger side). Not really noticeable unless you are really looking for them. The usual small stone-chips on the front bumper and bonnet. Actually not as many as you’d imagine because of a Paintshield guard applied to the bumper, however this is a ‘feature’ of the 350Z’s flat-fronted design. There is one slightly larger stone chip on the wheel arch section of the bumper. Paintshield has been removed from one corner of the bumper to allow a cosmetic respray where the shield was perforated by a larger stone chip. Wheels have recently been professionally refurbed by Lepsons in Swindon. One features cosmetic kerbing to the rim that occurred post-refurb. All are straight without any dings. Some slight abrasion of the paint on the bonnet that my DA polisher can’t shift. It’s pretty much localised to the centre ‘stripe’ but is faint and doesn’t come out in the photos. There is a bit of the usual abrasive wear on the driver’s seat cushion and bolster. Absolutely no tears though. Other Details: I think that’s about it. If there are any questions I’d be happy to answer them by PM or in this thread. Test drives are welcomed (encouraged in fact) in Swindon or Oxfordshire, but you must have proof of insurance, otherwise I'll be behind the wheel. Price is £6,495.   6. +1 I had a place in Swindon telling me I must have bent suspension arms and all sorts. They were supposedly a reputable place so I was a bit concerned, however when it went to DMS they sorted the alignment in about 10 minutes without any dramas.
  7. Have they sorted out the issues with the mpg yet? From what I heard the early ones were getting nowhere near the stated figures.
  8. Got my P1 sorted on Friday, top service once again. Had a look at Jez's stripped out/caged 350z wile I was there. Looks like a beast, will certainly be interesting once the engine work is done!
  9. I had an old 850 T5 that had the MTE remap. Very quick but some immense torque steer at times. I then added NOS and things got a bit silly The guy who sells the MTE stuff is called Don if I remember rightly. Seemed very knowledgable about the whole thing and I think he's still about on the Volvo forums.
  10. This is what happened to me too. There were two different boxes and we just went through the ones that 'looked right'. Got it on about the fifteenth go and ordered the part there and then.
  11. I can recommend these. Easy to fit (if you follow the instructions properly) and excellent service from Tarmac too.
  12. Those come in the new style ration packs. Just enough for a boil-in-the-bag if that's your thing!
  13. Do these come with the fitting kit? My plastic one is currently held on by a combination of bolts, zip-ties and luck.

    Headlights

    There were a few of us in this position. Not a cheap exercise, but it actually led to one set of headlights being passed on from member to member. I wonder if it's still happening?
  15. Also check the exhaust. One of my hangers needed some 'adjustment' when I was experiencing similar noises. Cheaper than changing the drop links too!
  16. Which grade of Gulf are you using? Can't seem to see a 5w-30.

  18. My mate managed this last year with a V12 Vantage. Turned up to a few evenings put on by the dealership, wore the right clothes, conducted himself in the correct manner. His car at the time was a clapped out Calibra!
