  1. What a bugger. If you are on the hunt for a replacement I can recommend this guy: http://www.joshuaarcher.co.uk/ I know him from a while back and he's just done the photos for my boss's wedding. Might be worth a look.
  2. +1 I looked into all the options when I was going down the S/C route and this definitely came up as the best way to go.
  3. Potentially a grammar checker could be helpful too. I've just noticed that I ended my first sentence with a preoposition - just off into the back garden to flog myself.
  4. Apologies if this has already been dealt with. Any chance that mousing over the title of a topic could bring up the first line or so of the post, a la MLR and my350Z? Yes, it's a bit lazy, but with random topic titles ("Guess what happened! / OMFG! / Arghhhh!! etc.) I think it would be a handy feature to have, particularly to those with slower connections speeds.
  5. What gets me about this is that if you look at the feedback he seems to have shifted a few!
  6. Problem with Tiff is that he's regularly outclassed by Jason Plato on Fifth Gear.

    Spacer bolts

I've been after two of the bolts if it turns up!
  8. I think it's the GM rather than GC isn't it?
  9. Not normally one to veer off-topic, however if I can serve the community then I think it's worth it. So, the Top Gear Apocalypse DVD, I have a feeling it may be destined for a few Christmas stockings. My advice is to avoid. Honestly, scraping the barrel of what they can get away with in terms of shameless cash-ins. Would be more than happy to listen to counter-arguments, but I really found very little to redeem the entire effort. Oh, and Clarkson's Italian job was better, but hardly a masterpiece!
  10. Rear EBCs sold! Ferodo pads still for sale.
  11. An unashamed hi-jack Just trying to help the OP out! Thanks for that mat clip Alex, arrived this morning!
  12. I have a set of new front Ferodo DS2500s for sale! http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=43361
  13. Had they been for the Brembos they wouldn't be for sale!
  14. Think that may be the way I go!
  15. They do, but seeing as the Garmin one won't work (and it's designed for in car use anyway) I'm slightly wary. Either I'll just have to bite the bullet or perhaps get hold of a parrot mic and use an adaptor.
  16. An equipment-off. Sounds good. It's definitely a 3.5mm jack, it plugs directly into the back of the hu (a 103bt), rather than into a separate module. This is what it looked like: http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_product.php?partno=5014386Z03 Can't help but think that 35 quid is a bit steep though!
  17. Bump! Anyone have a spare or know of a good source?
  18. The first batch of a few bits that I no longer have any need for: 1. Pair of Performance Friction (PF) front discs (rotors) for Brembo callipers. Unused and still in their boxes. Widely regarded by those in the know (Alex etc.) as one of the best discs on the market and a quality bit of kit. These go for £600 new, I'd like £550 for them. Collection (Swindon area) is preferable, but I can look at shipping if required. SOLD! 2. Pair of Ferodo DS2500 front pads for brembo callipers. Unused and in sealed box. Would perfectly complement the above so might be able to do a deal on both! These currently go for about £120, I'd like £95 inc P&P. 3. Pair of EBC Ultimax grooved rear discs for non-Brembo callipers. These have been used for around 100 miles only, just about enough to remove the black coating but not to cause any real wear at all. A result of a bit of an eBay **** up, £50 the pair . Again I'd prefer collection but can look at shipping if required. SOLD! Please feel free to post questions if I've missed any details. As somewhat of a health warning I'm currently away from home a lot so if you need anything in a hurry please make it clear and I'll try and accommodate you. If there is likely to be any sort of delay I'll let you know and won't take any payment until the kit is literally ready to ship. Coming soon - various unused parts from my abandoned SC project, including Mocal cooler and sandwich plate, oil temp gauge and also a set of 4 20mm spacers, provided I can source a couple of replacement bolts!
  19. Thanks Alex! I reckon mine counts as a half decent home, PM sent!
