  1. That's not good news about the utec. Have you tried changing the map selector? Hope you get it sorted!
  2. High Explosive?
  3. I got hold of some clear rears and ran a crossover cable to switch the fog and reverse lights. Nothing too dramatic, the part that took the longest was removing the rear bumper! If you're unsure drop me a pm and I'll talk you through it. Or if you happen to be near Paderborn at any point I can show you! There seems to be a lot of misinformation flying around about headlights. I would suggest checking what people at your local BFG testing dept have passed with. I got hold of some 2nd hand euro-spec lights but they're like hens teeth. If you can get a pass with US lights like Danny that would probably be the easier - and certainly cheaper - option.
  4. Excellent work!
  5. What's the change? I'll be in Arnhem on Saturday. If you could give me a rough timing I'll make sure I'm facing West.
  6. Good to know I've not started making s*** up!
  7. Didn't something like that happen in the Top Gear review a while back?
  8. Looks good! How hard was it to fit? I've been wondering whether to weld the bung before or after the cat, any reason in particular why you chose after? So nearly there.
  9. FWIW I agree with Ian again. Pictures and a price in the initial post. Cuts out any confusion and should prevent any issues like this.
  10. See your point Ian. Are there any forum rules on this? Perhaps if not there should be. Although it seems a shame to have to require them.
  11. I'd like to see some Typhoon pics too! Had a crack is a Holden SS V8 in the outback a few years ago.
  12. +1 That's not really on.
  13. Just plain wrong in my opinion.
  14. There have been a couple of threads on this recently. Have you tried a search? Vredesteins get good reviews.
  15. That's incredible!
  16. And while we're at it... http://theoatmeal.com/comics/apostrophe

  18. not sure what you mean mate? I don't pretend to be an expert on this - it's mainly from reading stuff on the internet! Essentially the sandwich plate contains a thermostat so that oil doesn't flow through the cooler until it has warmed up a bit, so that you're not cooling oil that is below ideal temperature. I don't know how much of a difference it makes, nor if it's necessary though.
  19. Is the sandwich plate on your oil cooler thermostatic? Have been looking at options and was wondering, in light of the weather, whether it might be a good idea...
  20. +1 I'd steer clear!
  21. I'm also an East Anglian when I'm back in the UK! Have fun, but as has already been stated, take it easy in the snow!
  22. +1 Although I have clearly just helped it on the way, so I'd better throw in a while I'm here!
  23. Nor, apparently, is your spelling! Good luck with the sale, a bargain for someone!
