one of mine before i changed the look of the zed.

To be totallly honest this will be the second mx5 she has owned.I bought her the first 4 years odd back now and at the time i could not find the one she really wanted.Well after a little stretch with an mr2 roadster and a mitsubishi pinin and as luck would have it this little gem popped up.... please say hello to california 106/300 ltd edition 1.8i couldnt help myself so i just had to buy some chrome roll bars for it. pics to follow but needless to say she is more than happy.

how did the ''hack'' go.....

silver 350z with red wheels and large boot spoiler. .....was in town collecting a yellow mx5 for the wife.

i actually like what you ve done there.

ok .i ll try and explain. this is not by passing the bose amp in-fact its retaining it and just improving the signal as required. pretty straight forward to do.you ll need to cut the rca leads off about an inch above the plug exposing the wires ie.white and black and purple and black green and black greey and black.then strip back and match these to the h/unit loom speaker wires.you need to remove the plug from the h/u speaker wire loom....join them together ie purple to purple ,black / purple and black and so on with the others.white to white and black to white/black,green to green and black to green and black,grey to grey and black to grey and black. hope this help.and you will not need the booster packs but you ll need ear plugs
