I prefer driving the zed to the E46 M3 I have, it feels more like a sports car, but the M3 is a better all rounder definitely.

This is fantastic - could you elaborate more on the mods you did to the pump to make it fit? Looks like I'm going to need to upgrade my walbro 255 and worried about how a bigger one will fit in the carrier, also was hardwiring tricky?

Which filter are you using? I put on the K&N 62-1480 on and it's made no discernible difference. I actually want it silent.

Filter on the BOV makes zero difference to noise reduction.

Have a play around with Vortech’s impeller calculator. You’ll find that it’s actually quite tricky to get close to the impeller limit: https://vortechsuperchargers.com/pages/impeller-speed-calculator 32/28, ATIdamper, 2.87” pulley, 7200Redline = 52,380rpm 928 state that it should be fine to overspin blower by a few thousand rpm.

I’m thinking of mounting oil temp into the sump but I have an APS large capacity sump and not sure where its best to tap it. Havent thought of the oil pressure yet. Are you going to use innovate gauges?

Wanted to gets some thoughts from those who either have or are considering upgrading their crank pulley in order to extract more power from their superchargers. Stock DE crank pulley: 5.75” Fluidamper crank pulley: 6.125 ATI crank pulley: 6.61” Simply put the larger the crank pulley and the smaller the supercharger pulley the faster you will spin the blower and hence the more power you will produce. Using calculations from Vortech’s impeller calculator, upgrading crank pulley you would still be within the blowers RPM limit. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
