  1. Sounds like a good opportunity for you to show what you are capable of. Just a word about the legal side of things though. I'm not sure of this as I've never been involved in running a service like this, but wouldn't you have to be registered some where and also let the taxman know. You don't want to be shying away from paying that. Like I said I'm not sure and may only be reqd over a certain amount of income. +1 on the insurance though.
  2. Each to their own I suppose but my opinion is they are not very good looking cars espescially don't like the z4 might just be me but I think it is edging towards the ugly stick.
  3. Welcome mate, enjoy. Are you gonna keep the FTO along with the Zed. I did it for about 7 months and only just sold the FTO. It was a real wrench letting it go, like losing a limb. But the Zed certainly makes up for it.
  4. Bit strange that one. Must of got him on a bad day. I met Richard Hammond a couple of years ago while they were filming the Bugatti Veyron against the Typhoon Eurofighter. He seemed a genuinely nice bloke and had plenty of time for everybody. Signed lots of goodies. ....But he and the team weren't impressed later when they had to explain to the owners where the number plate from the Veyron had disappeared to. Now then I wonder where that is ?

Thats good, sort of. I thought you had forgot about them.
  6. Did anybody notice what the words spelt out with the decals once the doors were open ? "COQ Yoghurt" on the Morris !!! " Les Bien HAT" on the Porche.
  7. The lights are not my mod, they were the previous owners and I used the fact I didn't like them much as a bargaining tool with the dealer and got a fair wack knocked off. They are only staying till I can be bothered getting round to buying rear Led's but to be honest they are right at the bottom of my list of things to change.
  8. you did tell them you were supplying the pads right ? that does sound a bit pricey. Got mine done in Manchester for half that. Supplying my own.
  9. Hi mate, LincolnBaggie recently used Crystals Lincoln and had good things to say about them. They are a franchised Nissan dealer but are very reasonable on prices and seem knowledgeable and friendly and ? prepare to be shocked ! Helpful. I have used their other outlets in Boston and Grantham and I too can recommend Crystals. Give them a call to see what prices they will quote. Maybe pm LincolnBaggie to see how helpful and reasonable they are. Or failing that, change the pads yourself. Apparently the Zed is one of the easiest cars to change the pads on and isn't that difficult for anybody with limited knowledge.
  10. Thanks guys, comments appreciated good or bad. To be fair the idea was to just have the Z but it is just very slightly to short and doesn't quite cover the 2 holes in the bootlid. The Z really isn't that bad in the flesh and IMO looks as good or cheap whichever way you see it as the Tommy K badge I have. The 350 was put there as a tester because the 0 fits perfectly over the holes. But as said earlier I have a Zed burger badge which is now sitting pretty in the middle
  11. That's right but not selling just yet. Coz I know what I'm like and will probably change things again in a couple of months.
  12. That's ok. I'm in no rush. Think I'll fix these and keep for a while.
  13. Cool. I was trying to find something like that, and to be honest the Z on it's own here does not quite cover the 2 holes that are covered by the pillars of the 0. I did try and make it just the Z but was not happy.
  14. lol. that one again. lucky it's just blue tac then.
  15. Ok, I debadged the Zed today and have attached some alternative lettering to the rear. These are only stuck on with a bit of blue tac at the moment coz I wanted to see what the general consensus was before permanately fitting. I also have the Z burger badge and a Tommy K badge but for some reason not really feeling the love for the Tommy K. Honest opinions please, I'm big boy I can take it.
  16. I'm all exited by this now just need to wait till the end of the month and i'll be popping over the hills to see ya. I'm thinking you may have quite a booking list for Zeds pretty soon.
  17. I'm supposed to be processing the nessecaries for a repair of a secret black box from a Typoon aircraft worth approx £1.5million with Bae, but keep getting distracted by the gravitational like pull the net/web has over me every time I'm near the computer.
  18. Hi mate and welcome. Nice Zed and all but not really to my liking colour wise. Each to their own and like the others said quite exclusive..............maybe coz they are like me(only kidding). Enjoy the pleasure of Zedness.
  19. Do you really think if his knee is that far beyond revitalisation and not upto the rigours of premiership football week in week out he would have passed a medical with Man Utd....No. The medical assesors are no mugs and neither are the insurers who no doubt would have been around waiting eagerly for the medical results. As for the point of being predictable, well yes he was predictable playing for Liverpool, look at them now same predictablity just replace Owen with Torres although I agree Torres is 10 times better., the predictablity comes with the team always supplying the same amunition. Owen is now just another option to mix things up a bit and change things around when a different approach to a game is needed..Someone with the poaching skills that neither Rooney nor Berbatov rely on.
  20. I don't see what the problem is. This would be a win win signing for Utd. They were hardly likely to spent 30-40mil on another striker to only play the same amount of games as Tevez. Who would then just start whinging and crying about lack of respect. To get owen on a free and pay as you play is ideal. Somebody who knows where the goal is and offers something entirely different to the strikers/forwards Utd already have would give them more options and also give them something that was missing in so many games last season, when they just couldn't put a team out of a game even though they completey dominated them. Experience will also have a huge effect on the young strikers already at the club and he is a model professional with supreme confidence in own abilities. If SAF can manage to steer him clear of major injuries then he might just become the bargain of the season. Hardly a gamble for a free transfer. You can expect though that Utd will not only buy owen, they will bring in another forward possibly 15-18mil worth and already being reported they have bid 16mil for Luis Fabiano which is 3mil more than AC Milan have offered. And also expect a defensive midfielder to arrive. Fergy knows what he's doing.
  21. Looks like the same one TADDY has fitted, and just done a bumper tuck. might be worth a PM to find out if he had any probs.
  22. They've crammed that engine in there haven't they. No room to work on anything Still it is beginning to grow on me but could be a while till it's enough to make me want one.

  24. Some motors there and lots of boy hood dream cars. Great pics. Also that 370Z is gradually growing on me. Still not a huge fan of the rear end but still might be temped in year or 2 especially after tailing one on the A17 for 10miles last month and seeing it up close and personal so to speak.
