  1. Here is my effort with a twist, it's me in the mask http://sendables.jibjab.com/view/fYKbmSSZy2Qgg9Kv
  2. Normal size chair loki just ate 2 dogs today for breakfast
  3. His name is Loki as he is really tricky and always getting into bother just like his namesake below: LOKI: Norse God of Hokey Pokey and one of the world's major Trickster Gods. In his early days LOKI was a rascal; crafty, sneaky, silly and malicious — a Loki The Lad. The son of two Giants, he was so outrageously mischievous that he even sneaked his way into becoming a God. He was the first Anti-Hero, quick-witting his way out of the tight corners and confrontations caused by his misdeeds.
  4. Started snowing in Greenock around midnight, sun shining now so starting to melt. My Norwegian Forest cat loves the snow, let him out this morning and he was running around the back garden. Snow no problem to him as he has waterproof top coat, his winter coat is nearly fully grown in, hope you like pics
  5. I have one in excellent unmarked condition PM sent Cheers Andy
  6. Apologise if this is a repost but it's very clever This video reads the exact opposite backwards as forward. Not only does it read the opposite, the meaning is the exact opposite.. Make sure you read as well as listen... as it first goes forward, and then backward. This is a video that was submitted in a contest by a 20-year old. The contest was titled "u @ 50" by AARP. This video won second place. When they showed it, everyone in the room was awe-struck and broke into spontaneous applause. So simple and yet so brilliant. Take a minute and watch it.

    Red Zed Pics!

Camera used was a Canon EOS 350D fitted with a Tamron SP AF Aspherical XR Di 28-75mm 1:28 lens 1st pic 1/125 @ F8 2nd pic 1/80 @ F5.6 3rd pic 1/125 @ F5.6 My intention was to shoot a couple of shots to try and capture a bit of atmosphere to depict the Autumn months and hopefully get a shot worthy of entry into this years calendar. Time of day was between 1545 and 1615 sun was low in the sky and light starting to fade especially in the 2nd pic I waited to later in the day to try and create a bit of atmosphere with the fading light to try and capture the remoteness of the setting. Could have shot the pics in full sunlight but this would have just washed out any detail and shown up the background more but I wanted the ZED to be the centre of attention. Hi-Res pics look much better but limited to bandwidth for uploading. Cheers Andy

    Red Zed Pics!

Took the Zed up to the hills at the back of Greenock today to Loch Thom take some pics, this is a great area for Mountain-Biking or walking. It also has a Wildlife visitors centre (Cornalees) which has guides and interactive stuff for the kids, and a Trout fishery where you can hire rods, boats etc. Has nice winding roads as well if you want to give the Zed a blast I take the mountain bike or walk around the Cut quite a Lot in the summer and spotted a track which goes up to the Microwave masts in the 2nd pic, from here you get stunning views over Greenock and up to Glasgow and down to Arran etc. well worth a visit if you are in the area.
  10. The acceleration that an object experiences because of gravity when it falls freely close to the surface of a massive body, such as a planet. Also known as the acceleration of free fall, its value can be calculated from the formula g = GM / (R + h) 2 where M is the mass of the gravitating body (such as the Earth), R is the radius of the body, h is the height above the surface, and G is the gravitational constant (= 6.6742 × 10-11 N·m2/kg2). If the falling object is at, or very nearly at, the surface of the gravitating body, then the above equation reduces to g = GM / R 2 In the case of the Earth, g comes out to be approximately 9.8 m/s2 (32 ft/s2), though the exact value depends on location because of two main factors: the Earth's rotation and the Earth's equatorial bulge. 0-60mph time would have been faster than a GTR
  11. I love the car and collecting it on saturday, but went down in my friends sorrocco and ... well the 350s interior just does look dated =( ... pains me to say it! Try comparing the Scirroco with the 370Z not a car that was launched 8 years ago Is there any after market wheels that can be retrofitted to fit? - love the TT and sorrocco ones. Or ... heck is there even any good chunky covers you can put over it to make it feel a bit more modern. There are aftermarket wheels out there just search the 350Z forums, it's not a common MOD as personally I think the 350Z wheel looks OK. If your so taken with the VW interior etc. then why not buy one

  19. Terribly sad news that two young lives should be ended in such a fashion. My thoughts and condolences go out to both families involved.
  20. Unfortunately if you do that the plates are no longer legal believe it or not. Here's what the DVLA rules say: The British Standard sets out the physical characteristics of the number plate. This includes visibility, strength and reflectivity. The British Standard also requires each number plate to be permanently and legibly marked with the following information: * The British Standard number (currently BS AU 145d) * The name, trademark or other means of identification of the manufacturer or component supplier (The company that made the plate) * Name and postcode of the supplying outlet. My plate was manufactured by bestplate, it has the dealer name and postcode on it in the middle and on the right it says bestplate BSAU145d. Does this mean i'm not allowed to cover the dealer name and postcode up? In order for your number plate to be compliant with DVLA and VOSA regulations manufacturers have to put reference to their manufacturing RNPS number and supplying outlet name and postcode on the bottom of your number plate. This law applies wherever you purchase your road legal number plate from. This will only be removed if you buy a sign (show plate) for off road use only. This is a legal requirement not a recommendation. If your plate doesn't have this info on them, then they have been supplied by someone who shouldn't be making them, if you buy from registered dealers they will always ask for proof that you own the car for the Reg No. you are asking for, this prevents cloning and other dodgy dealings using plates that don't belong to the driver. In your case it shouldn't be a problem as you have the info on them but you may have to remove any stickers that cover this info up if asked to do so but wouldn't think this will happen too often
  21. Seen these on Pistonheads, do you think they will bring out a 350/370Z roadster version, great for parking in the local supermarket http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default ... ryId=22440
