  1. Also remember that once you are 25 years of age in the UK, your insurance premium should drop. On another note, when I bought my Zed, I phoned up my insurance and asked how much more the insurance would be compared to my JDM Honda Prelude (1992, 2.2L VTEC). The kind lady checked and said the magic words "Sir, there will be no change in premium for you"
  2. What is DVR and why do americans play rugby with all that protective gear on? Hehe....
  3. I dare anybody to have a custom burberry leather interior......hopefully by then I'll have a shotgun license, rofl
  4. Just had this happen to me, got to work and one was stuck out. I wished this could have been avoided by making it linked to the outside temp sensor and disable the washer once it reached 0 degrees.
  5. I'm putting a claim in with the forum moderators, that pic just broke my monitor....
  6. Another good idea is to buy an Optimate III if you are gonna keep your car in storage for an extended period of time. It keeps your battery charged and helps against sulfating. You can also attach a permanent connection that allows you to just plug-in the optimate whenever you need it. Got one on a Honda CBR600 and it fires up first time everytime when having been in storage. Oh, looks like there is a newer version out http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ ... de=MTXOPT4
  7. Yup, agreed, never slam the bonnet, always place on latch and press to close.
  8. Well, I reckon the importing costs from Italy to the US is more compared to importing to the UK, distance and all that jazz....

  12. So does this remove the limit of 151mph or what does this gizmo do? (sry if it's a silly question)
  13. When the slip light comes on, it means your traction is 'sliping', when the ESP light comes on too, it means that the traction control has kicked in to help out
  14. ...a family of Oompah-Loompahs?
  15. Oh and whatever setup you go for, try to get a setup that has pillowball mounts, so you can adjust the camber according to your ride height.
  16. Welcome to the forum. Personally, I'd stay away from lowering springs only. From my own experience, you'll only wear out the stock shocks faster, because they are manufactured to be used with the factory springs. Sure they will work with lowering springs, but you'll have to change the stock items sooner rather than later due to the usage. Save up your pennies and get either a full suspension setup or coilover system, Tein setups have my seal of approval, had a set of Tein coilovers on my previous car (Honda Prelude 2.2 VTEC JDM)
  17. Wont need to go on the break tester Had my MOT done this month and the MOT tester said thay don't use the brake tester on this car and have to brake test it on the road (forgot why...something about the LSD, not sure....)
  18. Well all ended up ok at least. Congrats on the new car btw. If it was me, I'd have driven the car back to the dealer and tossed the carkeys onto the table demanding the money back, you should see how fast people work after that, lol
  19. Top Secret, Greddy and VeilSide have the same gearknob design it seems....
  20. I've had a Karcher for about 4 years with the vario lance and no problems.
