  1. More heat and more aggressive stretching should do it. You would be suprised how much you can stretch the 3M vinyl.
  2. Congrats and good luck for the future
  3. Consider yourself cool as ice.....just don't visit that shop any time soon tho
  4. I hear ya GT4 Zed, but like rtbiscuit says, depends on how serious a trackdayer you are. If it's for a bit of fun and you don't go "race pace", then I think it's ok, but by all means, if you are gonna go balls out every time, then of course, upping safety devices and driver training is a must. Be safe y'all
  5. The photo show on YouTube IMO, he went way too hot into that corner. Seemed like he got caught off guard. If you are going to the Ring GT4Zed, then do a nice scouting lap. take it easy and learn the course, then gradually build up speed and confidence
  6. On the second wash, did you use the jet wash on the wiper stalk or the headlampwash button near the ESP button? AFAIK, the headlamps will only wash once when you turn the lights on when using stalk, for additional jetwash squirty action, the other button needs to be pressed
  7. Well done Nic, happy for you. Now you can start designing that Slap Administration Room you always wanted
  8. I know of this, but as it's former incarnation, Davenport Lyons, before they handed it over to ACS. I myself received such a letter and found lots of holes in it, so I fought it and DL stopped chasing me. Using my IP address as proof was laughable, could have been anybody. Then they asked me for my personal passwords and I refused, because they were using criminal charges procedure in a civil charge case. So many things were just off and I turned out that i was right suspecting it was a money making scheme. It even featured on Watchdog, where an elderly couple received such a letter, claiming they downloaded hardcore gay porn. If anybody gets one of these things in the post, don't bin it, but reply to them and tell them kindly that you refuse to pay.
  9. One thing to consider about the rear lit up strut cover... Next time you get in your Zed and drive about, what do you usually see in the rear view mirror? Usually it's a nice reflection of the strut bar, now consider night time and having a lit up one....
  10. So we can expect alot of footage showing the piste, a jump, followed by sky-ground-sky-ground-sky-ground-sky-ground....
  11. £166 million not billion. I need new glasses......
  12. Meh, I'll get my coat...... Mind you, with a fortune of an estimated £166bn, it's kinda easy to give £20m to charity. Ok, I'll shut up now
  13. I mean don't get me wrong, it is a sad thing, but it's like irony personified in a morbid way, no?
  14. I mean you couldn't make this up... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-11416654
  15. Also might be worth removing the weight in the boot lid too
  16. This would be a good choice, gunmetal centres with polished lip viewtopic.php?f=61&t=23486
  17. We don't have a cabin filter...
  18. You could fit a Perspex tank into that gap and heat lamps, fill it with snakes and put a sticker on the bumper saying "Live Snakes! Do not crash into rear!"
  19. I bet somebody might play with the idea of going to Powerflow and having a ludicrous exhaust made with six tailpipes coming out that gap. Mind you, someone could buy it for £40 and run wild with ideas and mod the hell out of it.
  20. How big are your letters!?!?!? You could either install the biggest LED stoplight ever or install one of them LED scrolling signs and message people behind you (like "Oh sorry, did I just overtake you?")
  21. I guess so. Perhaps I too shall replace the speakers and add some decent amps at one point and rip out all the Bose stuff altogether. Makes me do wonder why I got the GT Pack tho... Rays = replaced with Volks Bose = replaced with F900BT Only thing I still retain are the heated seats and cruise control, lol
  22. Dave, I also have the whine, and I have traced it to it's cause. Seeing that we both have the same setup, I thought I would share my findings. Went to an audio installer and questioned the fitter about it and he said it's prolly a bad earth or insufficient earth. Then I told him about me using inline boosters and he said that that might be the cause, so I went home and disconnected the RCA's from the line boosters and connected them direct, sure I lost some volume, now having to turn up to 40-ish, but the whine has gone. So when I get a chance, I'll accuire some ground loop isolators and add them to the grounding cables on the line boosters and see if it helps. Will keep you posted once I get around to it.
  23. I reckon nurrish went up his stripper pole and then fell on his head.....it's the only explanaition
  24. Indoor or outdoor cover?
