  1. The overlay is from MasterGrade, but dunno if they still make them anymore since it's only a small US based company
  2. I got custom brackets too which use both holes in the bonnet hinge metal thing, so I'm good
  3. Quick question, are the ball joint heads and fixings mace of stainless or not? I still have an old set of INXX ones from years ago that used non stainless on the ball joint heads. Thanks for any info
  4. Go individual and have Powerflow make one up for you, that should fall within the £300 - £400 bracket.
  5. Perhaps the cradle needs a good clean at the connector, dust and debris maybe trapped in there. Get a brush and give it a once over
  6. I had that too until I pushed the adaptor and it clicked into the cradle proper. Perhaps there is a member near you that can help?
  7. Ok, it's on the fourth page now, I think it's run it's course. Move along, nothing to see here...

  10. Great neighbour I might go to Halfrauds and check out the car cover, lol
  11. You sure it's not like the episode if Friends where Joey made a Porsche shape out of cardboard boxes and put a car cover over it
  12. We should start a "Volks Appreciation" subforum to share our tips on maintenance and our horror stories, lol
  13. You could try more local, Felixstowe or Harwich maybe
  14. Move to Wales and build yourself a Batcave
  15. Don't forget that clocks went back an hour at 2am Ahhh, extra hour in bed...
  16. I had one of these as my very first car, 1974 Celica and the interior looked like this, loved it at the time (mine was a manual tho)
  17. Should be a nice little project. Any aspirations on seeing if more "updated" Nissan items will fit? Like a RB26DETT or VQ35DE? Looks like 350Z Rays wont fit tho, there is a stud missing....
  18. Honestly, on my way home last year, I pulled into a service station for a toilet break. Car park was covered in snow and I had a hard time getting out. Thank god for some friendly lorry drivers that offered to sit in my open rear hatch so I had traction. I also had my boot filled with bags and stuff, so in real terms, the Zed doesn't have enough weight over the rear axle when it's faced with snow sadly.
  19. Last winter I came off a slip road on the "skinnier" Rays and span out heading towards a ditch, not the fun kind of sliding at all. Did a 270 degree spin and had no choice but to ride it out, thank fully I missed the ditch and the police were at the top of the slip road and came to help.
  20. If you don't wanna take them off now, at least promise us that they come off at the first sight of snow laying. Think of the increased surface area you now have to slide out of control on......
  21. Congrats on buying a well loved Zed. Can someone remind me what rear wing that is?
  22. You sure that's not a Chieftain Tank, lol
  23. Looks good........now see if they do an engine cover in CF too
  24. Looking very smart there. Now take them off for the winter
