  1. At the base of the a pillar I found a gap that drops into the footwell, then just cable tied to other wires going to centre console and popped it through the back of the console As for the USB, routed it along side the existing cables going past the gear lever to the back, easier when centre tunnel is off
  2. Well, it's faster than a Lambo...
  3. BM, I'd not thought about this with all the chat I've read on coil overs and lowering springs, so I'm very intrigued.. Is it really that good a mod for a nearly stock car you'd get it done very early on the Zed list? I'd say so yes, I went through all the shiny bits before doing the ARBs, but I have to say I wish I had done it sooner. Cornering has improved so much since fitting them. Roll has decreased thus enabling more speed to be held in a corner.
  4. Between the pub and your house, you should be walking
  5. BTW, the PAC unit would be the TR7 I think (As it's specifically for Alpine units) http://www.pac-audio.com/pacproductdata/tr7/3_tech_briefs/tr7_alpine_tech_brief_052510.pdf They seem to be on eBay for £15-20 did a little bit more digging and it seems that on Alpine Units, it deffo needs handbrake and footbrake signals in order for the video to work. Compared to just the handbrake on a Pioneer HU
  6. It doesn't really need a switch physically, perhaps the solution was done with a relay box or even hooked up to a PAC Unit. But as you say, if you don't watch DVD's then it doesn't matter. Mine plays DVD's, but I have yet to watch a movie on it, even for channel crossings via the tunnel, I use the trusty iPad
  7. lime green, but make sure it's the lime green going into the cluster, cos if i remember there were two lime green wires in that area.
  8. It's not like that the other side though is it? Looks like they just passed it through their quality control. I guess you can't see it as much when on the car, but being face on it sticks out a little. No, the other side is fine. Mind you, once I hit it with compound, the shine will hopefully detract from it
  9. AHA!!!! It's a more complicated bypass than just grounding it, there is also a need for a foot brake bypass with handbrake bypass I know its an IVA W205, but am hoping that the info is also applicable
  10. Nevermind, just found the original for sale thread from smudgedon
  11. I've been trying to google your issue, but I don't have a model number to go by
  12. I think he's going thru all the colour options for your next date

  14. Have you pressed the "SETUP" button next to "VISUAL"?
  15. Handling Mod: Eibach front & rear antiroll bars, best bang for buck mod you can do on the Zed
  16. Gave it a quick pass with 2000 grit to smooth the finish...shortly after, rain arrived
  17. Is this stationary or on the go? Has the handbrake detector wire been earthed off to bypass the handbrake signal so it works on the go?
  18. No Caz, it's YOU that brings the donuts & cakes & biscuits. He ZedShed are experts in all things Zed and devouring of above

  22. Very nice upgrades, but I'm pretty sure the discs are DBA T3's, since I have the same ones
  23. Looking at the vid, I think the mini shouldn't need an exhaust
  24. I've got two small (but powerful) Jl amps, installed in the glove box behind passenger seat.. Mind you, if you remove the OEM sub, you could re-use the space and stuff the amps in there and still retain full use of the glove box
