Glad the Zed is running sweet now. What was the problem in the end?

Despite there being quite a few other patrons there, the service from the kitchen and staff was very well organised and efficient. Food was delivered a table at a time piping hot and delicious. May not be as big as Caffeine and Machine where there are alot of other cars to see, but for a club meet and food, I actually find it a more relaxed and homely place to eat and catch up. Top venue Thanks for organising this @davey_83

Love this venue. Motorsport themes EVERYWHERE. Even the wash basins They leave various FREE detailing samples dotted around the venue too. Paint sealant Shampoo Wheel cleaner Glass cleaner This visit I helped myself to some fallout remover

I too always thought it's the same stuff just different bottle. Until I saw the side by side differences in beading from 21:00 on here
-
I know they are VERY similar but definitely DIFFERENT. Seal n Shine formulation in UK is even different to Seal n Shine US according to John at Forensic Detailing. It's kinda like ordering Coke Zero and getting a delivery of Diet Coke, or Pepsi Max and Diet Pepsi. I know it's similar, but it's not what was described

I ordered some more Sealant Hydrophobic Wax from this supplier, but received 2 bottles of Seal n Shine instead today too.

Ordered 2 bottles of Turtle Wax Sealant Hydrophobic Wax from here. Let's see what arrives. @davey_83 if it's legit I'll bring you a bottle on Sunday
-
Surely you can return it as "not as described". I literally just looked at that same listing and added it to my basket Will hunt other sellers for dead stock of the old stuff
-
My original TW Hybrid Hydrophobic Wax has only about 1/4 left Will use it more sparingly now and not as a drying aid
-
So which one did you buy? Or was it ALL THREE? Seal n Shine is still one of my favourites. Bought a bottle for my dad when he got his new car in July
-
I took my kids to see suicide squad in 2016. They were discussing their favourite characters. My then 8 year old daughter said Gunshot while my 5 year old son said Harley Quinn. Mum asked why Harley Quinn. My son said "she wears the clothes that show THE SHAPE"

Always a good start to the weekend knowing your car's been cleaned and waxed. Hate going out 8n a dirty car......... it's like leaving the house with messy hair to me😬
-
@ilogikal1 Police were not interested and asked him to log everything online for a crime reference number to send to the insurance company

Part 1 of his CCTV footage showing them taking a photo of the number plate. Then he returns a minute later and simply unlocks the car Gets in and is joined by an accomplss .....and they're off! Happened in Tooting Broadway in South London

My brother's Kia Sportage was just stolen today. Parked on the road outside his terraced house. His CCTV showed they did it in 4 min total despite his keys ALWAYS being in a Faraday box. They took a photo of his car reg Went on a laptop in their car 2 min later used their keyless device, got in the Kia and drove away 😱. We reckon they've breached Kia database for keyless entry Kia Sportage models😬

Always nice to know that you have bought a car from an enthusiast who has cares for his car

If you didn't know which switch it was , it's the all black one above. When you insert it, you twist to lock it into position. You can choose how far you insert it before twisting and locking. If the warning lights come on after swapping it may be that you inserted it to deep, meaning when you dab the brakes the switch hasn't been triggered this confusing the ECU. In this case reposition it so the brake lights only just switch off once seated. Then you know as soon as you just touch the brake pedal the switch will activate.
-
Tarmacsportz will definitely look after you well. Glad the zed is on the mend. I literally just fitted a new brake light switch to mine a few months back. It was a LUCAS part and has been perfect so far. I always keep a spare as they seem to go after a couple years. My last one was actually an OEM Nissan one but that too only lasted a couple years. No idea why they failed, bit it's a cheap 5 min fix for about a tenner so it's all good.

05 Coupe at Lockwood and Greenwood today
HEADPHONES replied to HEADPHONES's topic in Spotted or Flyered
It was the immobiliser. L&G reset it all and it runs fine. The Mini's dash unit has been removed and sent to an electricis specialist for repair though. A loose connection means it's lost Speedo, tachometer, temperature gauge, abs, etc. -

My wife's R50 Mini is dead. Cranks but doesn't start. RAC spent an hour trying to start it but it's just not sparking. It was towed there Sunday night. I just went to drop the keys off. Hate electrical problems. I'd rather something mechanical any day -
Dropped my wife's car off at the garage and saw you there. Hope you're just in for servicing and nothing major.

Good luck with your search. There are genuine gems that pop up so don't lose faith.
