Saw this yesterday on the road. Saw the front first from a distance and just thought it was a facelift DBS or something. Not too much changed from astons of late But the rear was just stunning. It was an r sport mate. Might not have upgraded suspension I just presumed it would? I drove it from Glasgow to Bolton. Wasn't pushing it as driving like it was stolen lol just meant on the motorway didn't feel like some barges iv driven. The lexus LS460 is bigger but way less bargey

Dave- to me it does look like a euro box. Just another exec car In that class look at the new IS F sport- design wise nothing in that sector is anywhere near as radical. The rest look too ordinary, including the XE As mentioned before the big XJ has a funky design. I thought this would've followed suit. Lyon would expect the cars in this sector to be a bit more daring rather than the grandad/chauffeur sector In terms of the XF- I love how it looks inside and out. But wasn't overly impressed with the drive. Felt too floaty, didn't feel comfortable pushing it because it didn't feel very sure footed. That was a sport which I presume had better suspension? The XE would have to be a much better drive IMO

Yep NeilP has the motul livery on his zed Personally I think that look only suits track/drift cars. Neil uses his on track regularly. Similarly there are some drifters on here who have livery including a pro drifter (bizz) If you are gonna do it it will look naff on a standard car. I think they're really nice cars. Love the tail lights and the way the speedo slides around electronically. The temp controls are a neat trick as well The only criticism I had was it lacked road presence. I think it's cos the rear wheels sit so far inside the arches. But that's just me I didn't even mind the fake exhaust noise What colour combo did you go for?

Sorry to hear that mate. I wrote my skyline off a few weeks back so I know how annoying it is. I collided with another car but like yourself nobody was hurt I had to negotiate a price with the insurers and by sticking to my guns we agreed on almost double the first offer My situation was different cos skylines have risen in value lately. But don't give in to them and show as many examples as you can Hope you get it sorted soon but it can take time

All depends on the set up of the wheels mate. I had spacers on my rears only but it will mean nothing if your wheels aren't the same dimensions I can show you pics if you like but the best thing to do is buy wheels that don't need spacers

Lexus for me. If it's an f sport I think the merc looks really wierd from some angles

Thing is joe public won't bother checking ads and pushing for a better price like car enthusiasts. My sister told me the other night she accepted a very low first offer for their car. I told her you never accept the first offer and send them evidence of the real value. She told me she couldn't be bothered!

Had an email this morning saying the first cheque was an initial payment and a further cheque would be issued if the valuation was raised. I was sceptical obviously but then within an hour I had another email They had look at the ads more realistically, given an average of thrones closest matching mine, deducted a 5% "haggling at point of sale" fee and I will be getting a second cheque for just under a grand

Yep the cheque is going back to them I was just worried that I didn't have the power to fight it further But it's just a tactic they use to end matters quickly I presume
