  1. I'd rather avoid spacers if possible but obviously when going wide arch there's a good chance you will need them I like they JRs but in 16s they look too small. I'd prefer 16s Il need to check the JR site again Any other suggestions are welcome
  2. lol they're not that bad The car was only 1200 quid so don't want to spend that or more just on wheels Plus there's a lot more to get Iv only bought the arches so far. Not in a position I can throw money at a second car These are both around the 400 mark. I found it difficult to find anything that comes close to the dimensions of the 16s. Don't want to go as big as 18. Any 17s/16s Iv found with half decent offsets are not in 114x5 pcd
  3. Remember I'm on a budget lol What's wrong with the 17s? The centre caps a bit big but other than that? They're plain 6 spokes with good depth
  4. Not for a zed for a mk2 MR2. It will be going wide arch soon but can't decide on wheels. Modifying the arches to go rocket bunny-esq Iv narrowed it down to 2 but still torn between them. It's not my daily it's a weekend car but can't afford to spend too much at the moment with so much else going on Ok so the wheels in question. One set is 16s the other 17s The 16s are steelies. Bare with me before you say no! They're deep dish and although I'm not 100% on the design (and material) they won't need spacers. If anything the fronts sit too far out so il need to extend the arches more. They might look tiny being 16s but hopefully the wide dishes will make up for it I'm not keen on black wheels but I think they will hide the design and having a black theme against red could work The 17s are nicer. And actual alloys lol. Concave with the spokes going all the way to the rim so will look spot on. Only down side is they'll need 30mm spacers at the back. Fronts will sit perfect So do I go for the better wheels with spacers or cheat with some steel alloy wannabes which won't need spacers and extend the front arches? 16s: 8j et -25 17s: 9j et20
  5. I'd like to see it on the car but that's quite creative- fair play
  6. Try on gumtree that's where a lot of people look for a cheap runaround
  7. I say go for it. If your confident in getting a good finish then fair play- you'll have something unique If it doesn't turn out you'll know before you damage anything so nothing ventured nothing gained If it doesn't go to plan you could modify another spoiler that's made for the zed. That would be easier than making a spoiler from a different car fit?
  8. Just keep it like that lol
  9. I love the new one. I know what you mean that it looks totally different but it wants to be a modern supercar not a classic car revival like the beetle/mini etc so it wasn't going to be a modern take on the original Coolest thing to come from Japan since the LFA. Looks a million times better than the GTR
  10. Can I have some of what you've been smoking?
  11. Soooo...... were talking about nearly new cars that are a bargain And the examples are a new car with just s few grand off and an 11 year old car?

  13. Talk about going off the point.... I didn't say they lifted any trophies did I? I'm saying the standard of Scottish players has been crap. Anytime the old firm made an impression in Europe it was with foreign players The teams I'm talking about didn't lift any trophies but the standard of football they played puts the current old firm to shame
  14. I was referring to the days of Advocaat and O'Neill when the old firm gave some big teams a scare in the champions league I was referring to recent times not the good old days that I didn't witness I'm not grey like you remember
  15. For me Scottish football was always on the way down but it died a few years ago when things went pear shaped for rangers. Especially at club level Last night the score might not have reflected the match but the gulf in quality and fitness between the teams was clear When England broke they had a certain finesse, Scotland created chances but they scrambled their way through I'm younger than g man and irn bru (not being cheeky.....well maybe a wee bit lol) so I didn't witness the good old days of Joe Jordan etc. But when I have seen Scottish teams do well in Europe it's been mainly with foreign players I think we will be minnows for a good while yet, we always get optimistic when qualifying groups are drawn but we always drop points against smaller teams. This campaign was no different
  16. About time my prediction was right if you're gonna do that may as well do it wearing pink...
  17. Ready to see us getting pumped?

    New shed

That's how to shed Never understand why people buy crappy French hatchbacks for a cheap daily
  19. So if they're 17x9 et43 what would they be roughly if they're reversed? Here's a link to the ad http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282215708055?redirect=mobile
  20. Thanks for that Iv heard that some splits can't be reversed due to the lip on the inner side of the dish? If they can be reversed what reduction in offset would you expect?
  21. Looking for a set of wheels for the mr2 and found a potential set on driftworks They're advan siena gen 2's, 17x9 et43/48, 3 pc splits Offset is far too weak for what I want Question is- can they be reversed to reduce the offsets? I've asked the seller but he's not sure. anyone able to shed some light?
  22. The guy on the right likes that booty
  23. Not sure if I wanna watch it now lol
