  1. Can't beat real life need for speed modifying. Should we expect a unique paint job as well?
  2. ......How long before you start making enquiries into the amuse kit?
  3. Matt red is nice. Think the car needs a bodykit and bigger wheels to pull it off though?
  4. When I opened this thread I was hoping for a nova project Think it takes balls to transform a car as perfect as a 911 turbo but I'm watching with interest. Think it's worth posting a few pics of your zed for the newer members as when I joined you had sold your zed but a photo would pop up now and again
  5. Yea mate I could get used to this fatherhood business It's a fantastic feeling mate. Iv had a skyline for a while but even tho it has back seats it will be a bit too loud for the little one. Sold my wifes Audi A3 3dr for a Mazda 3 sport saloon. Much more practical
  6. Just wait til your away on your stag do. I'm gonna mask up the spoiler and paint it myself. Consider it a wedding present
  7. Photoshop followed by paint. You've seen how big a difference the rest has made. The spoiler would not only set it off but be a unique mod. Unless ebized copies you Was gonna get a black roof on the skyline from day one mate but the pillars don't have a smooth contour with the roof if that makes sense so it wouldn't look as smooth as some cars
  8. Thats their problem not yours If you don't like it you can remove it. If you like it but not sure of the finish then paint it If your not sure if you'll like it.... what's that photoshop help website again?
  9. Looks much more aggressive with such a relatively small change (compared to matt orange on that type n bumper!) Mirrors look better white. Woulda got the underside of the spoiler done black tho
  10. Cars gone to it's new home in Shrewsbury. Mods please lock
  11. I like most of the recent volvos especially in r design guise. They are marmite like you say but I like them. Very different to a zed tho
  12. Thanks for all the kind words. She may be more like her mum. But she gets the hair from me. Il post a baby pic later Craig I can't mod the baby but Rizwana can- she's planning all sorts of hairbands and frilly dresses already! Watch the zed drive off to it's new home in Shrewsbury today. Had a wee lump in my throat but at least it frees up some cash. Part of which will be used to treat the skyline. Iv told the owner about the forum so hopefully he will join soon
  13. Eventful day today. Found out that my zed will be driven away from me tomorrow across the border for good But to make up for the pain my wife gave me the best present yet- a gorgeous little girl.... Still hasnt hit me that I'm a dad! Just a few hours old..
  14. So basically just buy a decent camera- good brand, high megapixel screen with a manual mode? And learn to play tricks with that?
  15. wouldn't have minded if you did. Just woulda got very confusing for everyone
  16. Cheers for the tips so far, gives me food for thought. I'm not expecting picture quality like that of an SLR but as close as possible within budget
  17. "Tarmac sportz- making your pride and joy look cool and sound awesome and hep you win traffic light grand prix's and help you pull hot chicks cos wel make your car cooler than all your mates cars" Got a bit of a ring to it? I like your ride, my pride and transforming your ride
  18. No idea lol. I know normal digital cameras are cheap and last time I checked SLRs they were around £600? Wasn't looking to spend a lot and not really looked into it properly since my wife asked me last week. If it will give me good quality pics of the cars I could go to the £200 quid mark but ideally lower. Is there a specific feature or function I should look out for?
  19. Looking for a camera that could act as a happy medium between an everyday digital camera and an SLR. I like taking photos of my cars, not much else, and SLR cameras seem to give the best results. Also my wife asked me to get a camera to keep family snaps altogether, rather than on our phones that get changed every year or 2 Thought I would just get one family/car camera that ticks all the boxes that isn't too big and not too expensive. Does such a thing exist?
  20. Go to Pakistan mate. Might not enjoy it but it's certainly different!
  21. There's also IA Bodyshop in the east end who are very good
  22. Yep, for me what makes the zed great is it's an excellent all rounder. If you've driven both you'll know what you want. Spot on with the flames though!
  23. Welcome mate. Iv currently got an r33 gtst as well as a zed. Both great cars but very different. Took me a while to get used to the turbo lag with the zed having a fair bit of torque low end. But recently Iv had the zed back on the road to sell it and you can feel it running out of puff high end where the skyline just wants to keep going The zed being a cruiser is obviously fairly comfortable but I was surprised at how smooth the ride quality in a slammed skyline from 1995 is. Drove it for 7 hours from Devon to Glasgow when I bought it and wasn't tired at all
  24. you know it makes sense Didn't mean under the bonnet, just bright purple calipers behind the volks. The engine bay can go purple in the future
  25. Jay take notes on this one- should be your colour scheme
