Level ground (eg 4 poster lift) and measuring tape! Several goes maybe needed as the dampers may need to settle. I use half tank when doing this as I always run half to quarter tank on track. Use the same reference points on both side of the same axle. I use the center of the arch to wheel center. Also make sure your air pressures are equal on same axle. I use N2. It's 4 quid its stable both hot or cold and its cool👠Note: You can't do this with the suspension unloaded! I also found counting threads not accurate. The above method comes with the KW manual and same as what my local race shop does.

Hey Bems I've had both with headers, decat/ART pipe and I would get the invidia which I currently have on the car. They are both not very loud and quiet on cruise but come alive from 3.5k upwards to redline but will still pass most noise tests. However the dual pipe and x pipe cross over is superior with better scavenging and the build quality is even better. The flange a machine cast aluminium and mate perfectly. The only exhaust I've seen that is better is the Motordyne which has v band flanges/clamps all round but the SS and week quality is the same. Mark @ abbey also found a few ponies more from the invidia compared to the Motordyne but not anything that you will notice. I will get a Motordyne eventually if I can find a way to keep it under 97db static😜 See for yourself:

Never ever had a problem with all this max power brigade👀! I dine on porkers, m3s fast Audi and the occasional exotic and the like and this is on a track! Does that make me a hero or my zed quick ? Nope!! There us always something quicker or a quicker driver out there! There are so many variables to consider so I never bother with traffic light grand prix and the only satisfaction i get is from the knowledge of how much I have improved my zed to do want I built it to do. It's night and day. So on my diner list zeds are now also fair game if the driver is stupid enough😜 to get his pants pulled down! Short shifter is great! Had the japspeed on first but though it installed and worked ok it lasted maybe about a year and then disintegrated! B&M probably make one of the best short shifters. The nismo is too expensive when its essentially the same minus the adjustability. Got it from US👀 Didn't know octet had issues as he recommended the B&M as I was considering the more expensive TWM shifter.

Thanks for the comments! The rear wing is from RT performance and its made of carbon fibre so very light. It has a high and low downforce setting. I can also remove it if I want to tone down the looks😎 I get the rest of the pics up soonðŸ‘

True dual exhaust will always flow better than OEM style design. So even the Nismo will make very little gain on the OEM👀 more so the motordyne is properly flow and acoustically tuned so its expected. Abbey found the invidia Gemini even made a tiny fraction more power probably due to better scavenging due to the superior x pipe design. Any way both exhaust have been taken as I cannot resist the offers. I'll get a motordyne later if I get bored of the invidia.

Weight saving is always good but where its saved and how its distributed is more important than just the raw number lost. Reducing unsprung weight saves you about a ration 1:4 compared to sprung weight but more than this its improves performance.

Same thing I noted which is why I clawed back to -2.5deg at the rear. Has yourKW failed? I had one damper fail and send it to KW Germany directly. In hindsight I should have Isis more and send it via the UK outfit. TBH I was the cause of the failure as I used a wheel gun to tighten the upper but in a haste. After doing the other three manually👀

There is a super medallion hyper which is louder and I think its discontinued but stocks may still exist. The super medallion touring is what you want unless you want to get used from here or the states.

The zed defo weighs over 1.5k kgs. 1300kg will require a full race strip IMO. Speak to Jez @ H dev or mark @ abbey as they both run full track cars. Or search on my350z.com. Many threads relating to weight saving and weight distribution etc but it at the end if the day it depends on how far you want to strip as lightness is not cheaper and not value for money for a track car. However removing seats, carpets, spare wheel, exhaust, cats, Ac, trims etc and replacing with rays, bucket fixed back seats, single exhaust will net you close to 100kg.

Hey Neil, happy new year! I found that there was no advantage to extra camber in the rear and -2.5deg was optimal unless you want to buy tyres all the time. Toe seems to be more critical. I was tuning a lot if toe in to prevent oversteer but now with an LSD providing so much grip I'm at 0 deg rear toe to help reduce unwanted under steer and push from the rear. I know geo with slicks or semi slicks is different as there is so much grip so I would appreciate your feedbackðŸ‘

Discontinued mate! If you get a new one I'll be amazed. Consider the Tanabe super medallion touring if its the Nismo sound you want. Better quality and cheaper too.

I have probably dabble with the zeds suspension that most here and I learnt on truth. Do it nice or do it twice! Godspeed overall are on the same rung as Megan racing etc. looks good but no longevity. If you don't want to pay for SPLs consider Superpro eccentric bush for the OEM UCA which will give you and extra 0.5deg of negative camber. Just depends what you want the car to do. I'm running 3-3.5deg up front depending on track type and that's really a lot for non slicks but its an acceptable sacrifice for turn in and steering response against tyre life. 2-2.5 deg is perfect for all round performance and you can probably achieve that with lowering and the bush!

Not to poop on your parade but I doubt that will fit!!! Unless you have proof from the manufacturer or end user the design looks very flawed. The primaries just run too long before they bend. I have fitted DC headers and its bloody tight and had to widen so flange holes to get it to sit right and not interfere. Just look up pics of popular brands and you will see what I mean. On the other hand its very cheap for someone to have a punt and I may be wrong.
