  12. mate, are you a Snap-On dealer by any chance? I think there is room for a good tool supplier on here if you are
  13. Very easy, only 2 things to be really careful with are: 1. don't bend / flex the headliner too much as they can crack. 2. Watch the clips around the sunglass holder and interior light as they can snap easy. More so in these extreme conditions so leave the heating on in the car for 15mins of full blow Start from the back with the visable pop clips and work forward is what I do. Any free advice needed call me pm'd you my bat phone number
  14. Not good mate and very sorry to see that! I would blame your Mrs and tell her it would not have happened if she hadn't set the heating to 100 degrees melting the snow and causing it to slide Only roof skin damage so not that bad. a good body guy might be able to get it somewhere near but it would need some filler. If a proper job can't be done I have 2 roofs off Zeds in my garage I honestly don't think you will need it though mate. Insurance companies can be funny with roof damage as its classed differently to panels that bolt off. Porsche usually write cars off with significant roof damage when they see it. I wouldn't bother trying to claim on your car insurance unless you have protected no claims. Best of luck
  15. All marques have their issues of some kind. Take the Audi Q7 3.0TDI, a great 4x4 and family car. However all the audi dealer garages are full of them (as are Falcon Performance) due to a massive leak from the water pump! A good customer of ours has a 2010 model top of the range and paid a fortune for it. There will be a recall very soon Cars are so reliable now compared to the 'back in the day' cars you hear the older generations talk about. At least back then customer service meant something with the dealers and they tried to put right the faults instead of denying there is an issue. Another good customer paid over £200k for a high end bentley and it always pulled / tracked to the left. It lived at the dealers and they could not fix it and it was brand new. In the end the customer threw his keys at the dealer principle and told him it was going legal. They refunded him in full after a lengthy arguement My advice it to wait until around 6 month to a year after vehicles have been launched before buying new as there are always issues and recalls. Ask an R35 GT-R owner
  16. If you are planning on doing the centre trim and cubby make sure you try and get off the rubber / pastic top layer as it reacts when painted due to silicone. Ask Madmarky as his first one did this. Secondly use a decent quality high build primer. Paint can be sourced for nearly any Auto supply company like fleet factors / halfords / etc etc. If I was you do some of the prep yourself and find out if anyone on here is getting any paintwork done on an azure zed. Then just ask if you can get it done when their car goes in. Will be the cheapest option and hopefully get the best results
