  1. Any more news on these CS?
  2. Probably 20/20 if lowered like you but thats with standard rims. What are you wanting to achieve? Nothing specific in mind - was just interested to see what the best set up would be. Ive heard rumours that the handling will improve since you are widening the stance of the car but not sure how true this is. Thanks CS - look forward to chatting to you about a few things tomorrow mate.
  3. If you are fitting 20 to 25 spacers on the rear do you need to fit spacers to the front too? Whats the ideal spacer set up?
  4. Ok not long left before I fit these on Sunday so if anyone wants them let me know. I can hold them for a while until you have the cash but I just need to know that someone wants them before Sunday. Ill be at the Chilli's Mod Day on Sunday and can also make it there for Saturday afternoon if someone wanted to collect there and maybe have them fitted there and then. Anyone want them?
  5. What are those exactly? I hadnt planned on fitting them with my kit if i did decide to fit it. Can someone fill me in on what they do and why they are needed? Many thanks.
  6. Honestly mate you dont need to go red just because your grounding kit is red. You can mix up a couple of colours and it will look sweet. In fact Id suggest having the covers a different colour to your grouding kit so that the wiring stands out. Or get yourself some chrome sheathing that they use on bike cables and feed it over your grouding kit to make it nice and shiny - thats what I did as my cables were a pretty dull grey. As for painting all you need is plastic primer and then the paint colour - absolutely no need for high temp paint and the like. I didnt even laquer mine as I wanted to see how it held up without. It still looks the same now as day one and Im happy so I never bothered with laquer. I did mine all in one day too but I was hasty and I would recommend leaving the primer to dry overnight before doing the paint. Heres mine after I finished And the grounding kit covered in chrome weave
  7. Thanks Martinmac I hadnt thought to mention that. I also have the warranty card that hasnt been filled out yet so they are as good as new!
  8. Quick update for you all. Ive had a lot of interest in the KW V3's and it seems that if I wanted to sell them I wouldnt have a problem recouping the money I spent. Im still in two minds as to whether I want to sell them or fit them and Ive also been informed that they are now selling for over £1,300 which makes this an even tougher decision. A member informed me that he parted with £1,700 including fitting to get a set of these. I know many of you will be thinking that I should take a loss since they are pre-owned but in all honesty im just as happy to fit them as I am sell them so Ill only sell if I can get back what I paid. If there is someone out there planning to buy a set ov V3's at current market price then you could save yourself £300. If I get no takers Ill fit them this weekend. Let me know if there is any interest - otherwise my HKS will be up for sale for a good price after the weekend. Cheers guys.
  9. Well they cost me £1,000 and Im pretty sure they are going for more then that now with the bum exchange rate. I dont want to say a price just yet as im still debating whether to fit them or not. The level of interest I get in them will determine whether I sell them or fit them and sell the HKS. Id be looking to recoup as much as I can since they have never been fitted but am open to offers. If anyone wants to pm me an offer ill give you a definitive answer. Cheers guys I appreciate the interest..
  10. Tell me about it mate. If I thought I would get anything out of them other then a blank look Id go back there.
  11. Was an independent in Eden Park - Kent. I had the car MOT'd elsewhere and it went straight through. Ive also had a service since then at Marshall Nissan with no comments regarding the suspension at all. Pretty sure the independent just wanted to shaft me.
  12. Well just to bring you up to speed I have HKS suspension on my car at the moment but was told by a garage doing the MOT that one was leaking. So I went out and paid full whack for a brand new set of KW V3's. I have since found out that this was not true and Im guessing was in an attempt to get more money out of me for new suspension and a re-test. So Im testing the water on whether anyone is interested in my KW's. Im short on funds lately and could do with the cash. If no one is interested then I will fit them and put my HKS suspension up for sale complete with HKS top mounts. Please pm me with any interest on either set or feel free to post here. Thanks guys.
  13. Hi mate. Plenty of info on here about mods but personally Id say the plenum spacer is a must if your talking engine mods. As well as hi flow cats! Oh and get a popcharger intake on there too. Doubt it will do much for performance but it sounds and looks great
  14. There really is no point in asking that type of question to a wide audience as all you will get is mixed answers. Its totally a personal taste thing and will depend on your other mods. I wouldnt think NEONS would look out of place on a show car but I do look at people with them on at night driving round and think what a chav (even though I used to have them myself many moons ago) Most people think Neons look chav but then there are a huge crowd of MAX Power readers that love them so it just depends on who you are trying to impress. I always think that if you saw them and you liked them then get them. You cant ask for more then personal opinion and if your opinion is that they look cool then get them - just be prepared to receive a shed load of negative comments from those that dont share your opinion. Modding is all personal but lets be honest most people want everyone to like what theyve done. You get NEONS then be prepared to have half the world think "wow bright lights" and the other half think "oh my god what a plank!"
  15. GTart is where I plan to have my suspension set up done after Ive fitted the KW's. Id be well up for a dyno day too. Count me in Mark.
  16. lol i wish mate - I had to come back and start earning more money to pay for all the stuff im doing to the Zed ha ha. Gonna be a sweet day when it comes back with the new kit and the lights.
  17. Ha ha I love how its a totally different colour to the rest of his hair. Seriously though Id rather not be in the GBOWR if thats what Im in their for!
  18. looks sweet - im intereseted for sure. Look forward to hearing price!
  19. My photocard was issued in 2002 and expires on 2012. One thing that grinds me though is that I lost my licence a year ago and paid the £30 for a renewal. When I got my renewal through it says on it that it expires in 2012 like the original. Fair enough I shouldnt have lost it but when I renewed I paid more then the cost of a new one and had to send a new picture so why on earth would it not be valid for another 10 years? I now need to spend the cash again in a couple of years for yet another one even though this one is practically brand new (well a year old) Balls to the DVLA - motorists get ripped off left right and centre, dont know why I expected anything different here.
  20. Look awesome mate. Cant wait to get mine back even more now lol. Should be on their way to you in the next week. I know some people think they look tacky but thats only because of the cheap replicas and diy efforts out there. Anyone who has seen Pauls work can see the level of quality that goes into these. The sheer craftsmanship and level of detail on this is as far from tacky as you can get. If people think that the actual leds themselves look tacky then thats their own opinion but as far as im concerned its another mod and they look wicked.
  21. Welcome mate. I live in Shortlands and have seen a couple of other Zeds in the area. Which one are you? Lets see some pics (or at least the last few letters of your plate so I know when I see ya. My cars off at the garage at the mo so you wont see me around but when its back we should meet up for a few quick piccies and a hello. Take it easy bud!
  22. I can recommend PHD stuff. Its my sole supplement now purely because it taste soooooo good. Ive tried so many all in ones and meal replacements that made me physically gag - the PHD all in one in Strawberry Cheesecake flavour is the best tasting supplement Ive had. Ive even tried the Chocolate Orange and the Banana and all of them are really nice but the Strawberry is unbeatable. Id drink it even if I werent training as its nicer then most standard milkshakes out there Give it a go - you wont be dissappointed
  23. Hi guys I really want to start taking nice pics like some of the ones ive seen posted on here. Ive seen some that look like movie stills and really want to know how you achieve that. I know Im not going to be able to do that with my 6 mega pixel Sony T9 digital so where would be a good place to start? When camera shopping what things should I be looking out for? Is it the pixel rating or something else that achieves that nice looking image? As I said I already have a compact digital camera so Im looking for something a bit more chunky with a proper zoom and perhaps a changeable lens (if thats a good thing lol) Dont want to spend loads of money perhaps just something entry level that I can start taking some nicer quality shots with. If someone can recommend a good start then I can take a look when I get to Vegas tomorrow and see if I can pick something up out there - I just need to know what im looking for. Cheers guys - much appreciated as always!
