  1. im in southend bud. DMS looked like a very good choice. if wasn't a tad stretched on finances I wouldn't think twice .
  2. where did you end up servicing your car mark? P.S. how much did you have to fork £££?
  3. just comparing prices and checking with members regarding recommended garages in the area. Ipswich and Suffolk area as well as its not far from me. spoken to dixon and they quoted me £350 for a P3. looks like a nice bunch of guys just me trying to look after the pennys;)
  4. So you can't....... Using last years exchange rate doesn't count! well, exchange rate prior to may 08 was 200+ which was the norm prior to this saga. when things get back to norm (if they ever do) then you can. the pound these days cant buy you anything anyway
  5. not heard from keith. I am not aware of any locals coming to this apart from us 3. unless any of the ipswich/suffolk guys are coming down would be happy to convo. i am good for 5pm
  6. 1. http://www.tradecarview.com/used_car/ja ... r/1702915/ 27000 kilometres Going for 5500000 JPY 2. http://www.tradecarview.com/used_car/ja ... r/1778994/ 4000 kilometres on it Going for 5710000 JPY 3. http://www.tradecarview.com/used_car/ja ... r/1569889/ 12000 kilometres on it Going for 5900000 JPY take the second one for example: With the current exchange rate it will come to £38K If you consider the bank of England average exchange rate for 2008. You can have it for £29K If you consider the bank of England average exchange rate for 2007. You can have it for £24K Generally speaking the exchange rate prior to the credit crunch was between 200-235 JPY per 1 British pound. pick the right time and your in for a treat. Bear in mind that this is an export trader. So he knows you and I will be looking at his cars for side of the world. I wonder what it would be like if you visit local dealer and haggle the price (or get your Japanese holiday girlfriend to do it)
  7. I was on the A13 yesterday around 5 pm ish I think
  8. I am sorry but I see no point what so ever in paying the extra money for the badge. yes pokers are dream cars for some, but for me only the carrera GT can be categorised as that. has any one thought of importing a second hand GTR. they were selling for £27K with 2K miles on them in japan and thats 2 months ago when I last had a look. putting that price plus an extra say £10-15K to get it here and sort it against any porche up to the 911 turbo??? I would happily take the first plane to tokyo. few moths down the line when the GTR is a year old!!! I gonna have to start looking into shipping arrangement. no porche for me thanks
  9. mark did you speak to Keith on what time we meeting over festival?
