  2. I dont think the coupe has that supporting cross member underneath. however, you might need to keep an eye on the diff housing. this is the sort of material I used: http://www.quartermile.co.za/info/produ ... rriers.htm second one. I got it from DMS in erith. they use it on their race car manifolds so it should withstand exhaust temperature easily. PM dixon @ DMS or have a look on line if you require the stuff.
  3. the coupe doesn't have that supporting structure underneath
  4. sorry for the delay but it been a very busy couple of weeks. big thanks to CS for supplying this awesome kit . absolutely love it. got the box following the easter break got to work straight away only to shatter one very rusty bolt so had to take the car to a local garage for bolt to be drilled out. £30 later thats what it looks like now two points of interest 1. running the K1 without the bungs for the first day or so the was vibrating like mad. so jacked it up for closer inspection to find the middle pipe coming to contact with the structural rigidity enhancing cross member an adhesive heat shield was but between that and the pipe and a test drive proved it works wonders in terms off eliminating vibrations. another thing to note is that the pipes comes very close to the diff housing (not touching). currently there about 3 mm gap between the two should keep an eye on it and see if there are any signs of contact there as well. 2. the fuel consumption on the car has actually improved with the new exhaust. previously I was getting an average of 21.9 MPG and after the installation it is giving me 24.3 MPG on avarage. wither this is an isolated finding or a genuine improvement with the K1 exhaust I'm not sure but thats been the case since I fitted it. would be interesting to hear from members who fitted the same kind of exhaust over all I'm very pleased with the mod and I drive the car without the bungs most of the time but I take extra care when I'm in a residential area pictures standard exhaust after and before you lot start the stubby is on its way and yes the car had a wash afterwards.
  5. looks but you need to take those bungs out and through them in the bin
  6. All I know is that I have a pop charger, plenum spacer and Nismo exhaust and on the DynoDynamics dyno it made 2BHP over stock (so I call that stock!) so it obviously does dial out mods. Unless of course the popcharger lost me what the plenum spacer gained me. AFR was spot on too by what the chaps there were saying. isn't the stock intake better than a pop charger in terms of air supply to the engine?
  7. I seem to remember few years ago a swis tuner ran a similar setup on a dodge viper. power from 400 BHP up to 550BHP or something like that. mind you they used hydrogen tanks so no extra oxygen supply to the engine
  8. do you still have the stubby trev?
  9. That's alright then... You know what will happen tho, you'll go bald in that roadster of yours one day, because of the speed the wind will be ripping your hair out, lol LOL. thats already an ongoing process bud. plus the money I would save going to the barbers will go into the Zed
  10. thats a consideration with my future Haltech ECU/or remap if that comes through bullet.
  11. how much alex? pm me if you like bud

  16. thanks lee. I think he will be better of with 06 + as he will probably need the traction control. it is his first rear wheel drive car as well. is the TC on the S2000 switchable or not? also what is the best tires for and S2000 as I've heard they could be a handful in the wet if they are fitted with bridgestones? just out of interest, what sort of torque/BHP the Comptech Supercharger kit would give fitted and do the internals need upgrading? I have an S2000 engine lying around and I am thinking of getting it into a project I am doing
  17. I fully agree with that. the thing he likes about the S2000 is that in low revs its like driving any NA 2L car. nothing special + better fuel economy. It only becomes a handful when you rev it up. well, thats his argument anyway
  18. the best thing about the Zed in addition to the above is the fact that the Zed loves to wiggle its sexy fat a** when ever your up for it and still be very predictable
  19. +1 and a decent paint job
  20. any recommended owners club you know of?
  21. A friend of mine is looking for a second hand face lifted S2000. he’s been in my 350 few times but feels its too brutal for him. Mind you even an S2000 is a significant step as he now drives a Micra. Any tips on what to look for, any known faults for the face lifted model?
  22. I am very disappointed keith. I was painting the picture of few roundabouts on the way You mean Keith painting a few round-abouts in matt black
