  1. very true, but easier to replace a bolt then a full plenum...
  2. Sorry just getting confused now... who is making molding what from where and to what price?
  3. really if you go through all that bother would it not be better with something like this:

  5. i'd say it could crack if you over torque it , anyway some photos would be cool!
  6. the problem might be that you need to extend the 'pipes' on top (where the 6 bolts go) in the spacer kit you use the white washers/spacers for that. Also whoever wanted to get this would need to get separate washers/spacers for the strutbar and also longer bolts.
  7. Can take more photos and possibly give a mould of the spacer, not sure re the plenum (id say someone on here will have one 'spare')
  8. can you do a carbon plenum using my pure plenum spacer as an additional for the mold so I dont need it on the car?
  9. hmm that sounds VERY interesting... group buy? Who's doing it for you?
  10. hmm not that long my tuner blamed my fueling problems so had to take it out again. 3-4 months, 200 miles per week maybe, it does not really get 'stressed' under use, no moving parts etc. Might put it back on.
  11. wsure they are pretty much the same really :bye:
  12. you'll upset BM if they do bm like the stuff !
  13. Thats really good - Im impressed with that. Ive just seen this of a mate in the states new setup ............. no image...
  14. Found this one on ztech thats pretty good and should cover any Q's? http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Tires_(FAQ)
  15. not sure re keytool, used openssl and other products to create a cert. filezilla has a cert tool built in (FTP server software), maybe you could use that? I've used that and then XCA to convert the server cert for a client side cert and imported it and using FTPS successfully with certs now is this development using 'windows' certs in the certificate store?
  16. was talking to him about strocker kit (3.8) and he then said better off to go with 4.2 something like this: http://www.forgedperformance.com/store/ ... 264&page=1 but not that costly, labor will be the killer
  17. http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Plenum_S ... stallation Get back to you on price, going cheap anyway; offer? http://www.350z-tech.com/w/images/f/f7/ ... tall_1.jpg
  18. It would be the higher HP figure...but more that it's VAT deductible Yes I thought so. Well it is fantastic to get something back from this Government but with respect if money is an issue then FI is not for you. 10K on a shoestring: 20K to do it properly I know, thats why I'm doing it step by step approach. Next step would be to get it to 4.2l and then after that go the hog and do the rest... the E85 is just to get some nice hp figures with my haltech ecu unit, and get some monies back is a bonus but can be discussed as a reason to do it... duh... he he...

  20. I do not think that you will find a tuner that will be capable of sorting your car to run Stock, Bigger injectors, E85 and FI. You will have to decide on what route you want to go and this is more complex than you think. For instance how are you planning to take degrees off your ignition for E85? E85 is in limited supply but I assume that you already know this. I can advice on options for all the above individually but really this advice should come from your chosen tuner. E85 Maybe thats why I've heard nothing back yet > For instance how are you planning to take degrees off your ignition for E85? < No clue... The supply of E85 is cool, have a few places nearby selling the stuff. Hmmm I do not think that you will find a tuner that will be capable of sorting your car to run Stock, Bigger injectors, E85 and FI. I think what I mean is that I would like to start my FI build with using bigger injectors and fuel pump and then once I want to go down the FI route (not related to E85) I'd keep the pump and bigger injectors and change internals and the 'rest' of things that needs to be changed for FI.
