  1. Nope - same Zed I'd imagine - mine is only SC Zed in Ireland. Saw your comment on my youtube video recently - perhaps you didn't put two and two together? yeah I did actually put 1 and 1 together to make 2, is this your car so? http://couture-auto.com/gallery/35/ Didn't think it was since it was owned in Kildare area and you're on the other side...
  2. AFAIK - the US sourced UTEC on my UK Zed with a Vortech SC works just fine. Know of another utec z in ireland that came from the uk that's working fine too..maybe a tuner could shed some light on this?
  3. Whatever abbey told u to get, if you. Got std airbox get an apexi drop in filter.
  4. need to figure this one out too soon enough
  5. lok at it this way. It could of been far more expensive if a Nissan garage did it. You would have had a new ECU & engine before they got close to diagnosis. Did you test drive the car when you bought it. Well done Abbey I say +1 on the Abbey work but still pricey the guy just got the car and had to shell out 1100£ (meaning he shouldn't have to spend money on a car he just bought) Where did you get that import from? tbh you'd get better car imported directly yourself from one of the marketplaces in Japan. I hope it's ok for you now and not turning out to be a complete lemon.
  6. interesting, never knew why they had those things on the end of the hks exhausts. will be interesting to see what gains that could make... compared to using a normal test pipe since its replacing the cats, to stay legal you would need to find some location to put in the race cats... Mark, how are you planning on performing the test? A.
  7. sorry to hear that, that drills down to spinal cord... the dude didnt have any... spine! If he did he wouldn't have sold to someone else...
  8. good year F1's have the size you are looking for... look at camskill.co.uk
  9. the flywheel caused that! Where had the filter got to? What was wrong with the current steering wheel and airbag? good you got her back on the road! Pricey enough to sort out!!
  10. rtbiscuit dont think it will make any difference on your car really on or off, you've got to many other mods done so will not be a true increase from a standard mod. give it to the lads in abbey if they got the time / effort to swap it with one of their cars, I'd say that you should see 9-10 hp on the fly from standard and thats it... shouldnt be more since it's a plenum with a spacer really aint it?
  11. lol yeah they will red light means stop and do not pass go... knew that already fingers crossed...and if you focked it go with a stroker kit
  12. not sure why that would be that it wouldnt 'work'.... its a piggy back thing no?

  17. it's different with TSB... check with a Nissan garage, got a gearbox/clutch swapped out on a Mazda MX5 03 ,2006 so thats 3 year after warranty runs out.. think it's different if you got factory problem... worth a call Quote: Nissan releases TSB NTB07-088c: 2005- 2006 350Z: Engine Oil Level Is Low You're a sexy beast Andlid! Not sure if I should be running at this stage... (or better yet driving!) Ahh, I read the last page on that link you sent me. At least in the US, drivetrain warranty is 5 years/60k miles. My car's due a service about 2k miles so I think I'm going to do this! You sexy bea...bitch! I'm outta here!

  19. There's your answer, women are always the issue when it comes to losing track of money The missus actually manages to save all her money (maybe thats it, she earns less than me, but ends up with more. ) Andlid - I have identified the £300 a month i've been wasting, and up until xmas i would have started saving that - but now my missus isnt working, that £300 is no longer spare. However, when she's working again, i wont return to old ways, and that £300 will be put to sensible use. volks. at least you know where to get it from in the future... btw... the lads have a point on the msss spending... for you... I looked last year and more then likely spent more then the other half on everything... (then again... she's worth it)
  20. if you got a revup engine and it's drinking oil you need to check the TSB for the engine, I'll see if I can find it on the net. Nissan's way of dealing with it was to replace the whole engine... found it: http://www.my350z.com/forum/engine-and- ... ssion.html Snip: Ok, now in layman terms: Oil level is >1/3 qt (8mm) low, car has 2k mi on current oil change. Have dealer confirm the reading and document on your file, dealer tops off oil and tells you to come back in 1k mi. 1001 miles later you check it and its 8 mm 1/3 qt low or >, take it to dealer to confirm reading and your engine will be replaced. It’s that simple. So go and check it make sure it's at the H mark, come back after 1001 miles and if it's gone down 8mm on the stick you might be due an engine change... if still under warranty and nothing modified...
