  1. I have two rear toyo's with 300 miles on them which im happy to sell you, I'll check on the price, not sure about what the delivery costs are but i'm sure we could work something out.
  2. are you talking about a loud noise or jsut something fairly quiet. I get a noise at 85, fairly quiet but i hear the same thing in lower gears and speed same sort of revs, it just sounds like the run off when hardly touching the throttle, i've heard this on plenty of cars before i dont think its anything to worry about, but if you getting it at the same speed no matter what gear it might be something different
  3. I'll have to try and make a few more of these, and the London to Brighton Run if im free. nice pics.
  4. harsh I guess the schedule was set for last season as they were in the premier league. i dont fanc sitting in traffic all night, especially with the roadworks ongoing at that junction, how about meeting just before 8pm?
  5. looks like i will be free, barring anything happening at work. havent had time to wash the car this weekend though.
  6. i work southampton way, i dirve down from north hampshire, i see one or two most days going the opposite way to me on the M3
  7. guess its all personal choice, some companies dont like employees turning up to customer sites in flash cars, might be something you want to check before blowing your money on a zed. with regards to mpg i sit on a motorway, for my drive to work, very little city driving or traffic, the car says im averaging 48 mph and 26.4 mpg, taking into account the run to the shops and a few back roads to friends etc. but on my commute i sit at 90ish the engine isnt working hard and it doesnt hurt the mpg, business parks and roundabout are designed for fun only, and that is where i loose out on the mpg but, i woldnt have bought the car if i was worried about that. motorway driving peole have said they get 30+ mpg which i would say is easily possible, even when not cruising at 60 mph. the only other thing is like the others have said, whether you need the extra seats.

    1 today

nice looking car, it looked very clean from where I was.
  9. nope not realy, having not done a track day, i assumed that if your throwing the car around they would pull you off track pretty quickly, im not saying i dont expect this to happen immediatly, people do slide but did not think sliding all over the place would go down to well. the only other thing with track days are the other cars, my impression of track days are that there tends to be a lot of cars, not to mention barriers and kerbs around. I personally would be happier having some idea as to what might happen and by how much, before i put a car on the track and have the potential to hit and be hit.
  10. yes not looking to be a chav in a car park. I want somewhere i can push the car to breaking point and beyond so i can get used to the feel of it and how to correct it. Driffting is not what im looking for as its a bit different than normal road driving. Also i dont think people on a track day would be too pleased if i drive round getting the back end out all over. the weather is changing and it would be nice to get out somewhere for a 30 mins to an hour just try things. even if there is somewhere and i have to pay a small fee I would be happy for this.
  11. does anyone know of anywhere in Berks/Hants/Wilts where there is a big empty bit of tarmac that i can take the car to throw around where? I cant seem to find any smooth carparks without bollards all over the place. thanks
  12. wow cant believe that, watched it live myself. would have to watch it over again but i dont remember sebastian crossing the white line and def looked like massa hit him not the other way around. I actually thought massa should have been given a bigger penalty. what he got only put him back close to where hamilton was following being puntted off, i would have thought massa ought to have been given a bigger penalty than what hamilton suffered. it is getting really annoying, im getting cheesed off with it. i have watched f1 for as long as i can remember and am considering stopping watching it, or at least cutting back to only watching highlights. Its bad enough with the lack of overtaking, but this really will kill it. if hamilton does not win and overtaking is just as bad next year i can see the rating drop through the floor.
  13. Silver Coupe on M3 heading towards southampton this morning
  14. Chris i bought my car from West Way and have had problems. They have been good on the service side of things, but when i bought the car they were fairly pushy with things and I agreed to buy if a noise issue was fixed, they paid for a respray to part of the car suspected of causing it, which is great, but unfortunately it did not fix the problem, they are now refusing to carry out any further work, despite the agreement being to fix the noise not the paintwork. Really pi**ed about it, thought by purchasing through the dealer i would not have these issues - but i have, and they want to charge £300 to fix it. I will not be going back there. If you continue to use them i'd suggest you get everything agreed in writing as it doesnt look like their word can be trusted.:rant::rant::rant:

  17. spotted this on the net when looking for a new passenger door window seal. i haven't spoke to them yet but this lot seem to have a few 350's in stock in varying conditions. might be a good place to try for replacement bits if anyone is looking. i will let you know how i get on. http://www.hillsmotorparts.co.uk/
  18. Thanks guys, spent a bit of time looking at the passenger and drivers side, over and over. the passenger side window seal is not right. I haven't had the car long so cant say about the windscreen but don't think it is this. i pulled the thing around a bit and it is sitting in the correct place but just doesn't move properly i think the rubber may have gone off. on drivers side when the window moves into the seal the outer edge stay put and the inner section gets squeezed up. on my passenger window the opposite is happening. its the out edge that moves and therefore get moved up and does not fold around the glass. also at the back with the door open the rubber is squashed into the car body and does not rebound back out. for the time being i have pulled the seal out, packed behind it with some cloths and put it back in place. Its not the prettiest thing, but at least it has stopped the noise. All i need to do now is get a replacement. It does look like it will be easy to do a few fixing points and some glue, the seal fits into a lip so it can only go in correctly as far as i can see. When i get the replacement i will post a description and pics as to how i get on. If anyone hears of a spare passenger door window seal pls let me know. Thanks
