The seal is there but its almost as if the seal is too high or misshaped. anyone ever fitted one of these i guess it must sit in a grove of some sort an is just glued in? can anyone confirm this pls? thanks for the response guys.

Hi, i could do with some feedback on this, i have a whistle coming from my passenger door. It looks like it is coming from the window. I had Nissan look at it and they have said they think that it needs a new seal. The window does not appear to sit in the seal properly when closed. Noise kicks in at about 80 or less depending on the direction of the wind. The window does not look like it is dropping so i dont think it is the motor issue, and it looks like it is fully up. When Nissan looked they said that it could be the allignment but they had a look and said that this is ok. So... questions has anyone had this before and have a fix for it? i was quoted £300 from Nissan to fix this. (we have hada slight falling out over the issue and i will not be returning to this garage so would prefer to do it myself or get someone else to do it). Is a door seal and easy thing to replace, looks pretty simple but i expect its more complicated than it looks. Anyone know where i can get one of these from other than nissan. does anyone think it is something else and the door seal is not actually required. here are a couple of picks sorry not very clear from my phone. hopefully you can make out that the window is at the top, but the seal is not wrapping around it as with the drivers side. passenger window drivers window any help would be appreciated.

Personally i'd say if its something you really love, hold out and save and get the car you want... dont just buy a cheap high milage car because you want one and cant wait a few months. i held back for the colour and spec that i loved, there were cheaper options but i would have regretted it. i would have always been saying to myself just save another month and i could have had what i wanted. at the minute prices are falling, hang on a little while and save a bit more and you should be able to get a low milage uk if thats what you want.

kimi breaked really early for that corner, he was having problems, but that looked a long way off the corner, you could almost ask if he breaked early on purpose, its amazing hamilton did not hit the back of his car

that planet f1 explanation of the ruling is pretty funny, sounds like the have mixed up their ruling. i would say Lewis did gain an advantage cutting the corner, not by much, prob less than a second, but a slight advantage, if he had followed kimi through the corner he would have been a bit further behind him coming out of the corner, but given the speed he had been catching him, he would have more than likely still got him going into the next corner. its not like he came from miles behind, going into the corner he was along side, a few more inches and he would have passed him in the corner and their would not be this issue. i think he did the right thing letting kimi back past, i think the thing is they are saying he did not give him the advantage back (less than 1 sec) which would have been their if he followed him out of the corner. Its pretty harsh ive seen races in the past where people have been a long way back, taken a crazy overtake attempt from miles back, pass on the grass, come back on let the guy passed and pull right in behind, making up 2 or 3 seconds, and not be punished. it is crazy that he got punished for the his and massa got nothing for his pit lane antics the last race. i'd be surprised if the give him the win back, and its a real shame, the races are less fun now that they have been for years, the just making it worse.

wow , glad your ok, im sure everyone on here feels for you. hopefully it will show up soon. im sure everyone will keep an eye out on ebay, pistonheads etc.

try thailand, a holiday out their is about the same cost as going to europe, weather will be better, everything is cheap when you get their. you'll get a better hotel. only downside is the the amount of flying but if you dont mind the trip its definaetly somewhere to check out.

the grip of the tyre in that first vid is amazing, when that thing starts to grip it really tears at the tyre, muc h more and it would prob pull the tread from the rim. excellent clip

stunning, the colour saturation is excellent, if that comes out on a glossy calendar it would be ace.
