  1. I really dont like these threads with talk about depreciation
  2. and you. LOL. Ill ge the unread flag thing sorted soon. It is one of the top things to get fixed.
  3. You know you two really do have the hang of those quote buttons now.. Ill try and get some sort of fix sorted for the unread flags soon, but Im sure once you see what we have in store (the big thing Im working on) then you'll be glad I put effort into that instead of the unread marks. Either way - Ill get it sorted for you guys.
  4. Were they not the ones you wore when you met the guy from "right car wrong car" ? Have to agree they were certainly different from the typical white with blue stripes affair (usually accompanied by a burbery(sp?) hat)
  5. If you do get a new on Tim, then yo ushould be able to have the old hard drive fitted into it asa secondary hard disk, and you can get the stuff back of it.
  6. I do hope he means red tracksuit bottoms, and not pants as in what superman wears over the top of his blue tights. I do often wonder if I made the right decision all those months ago Val.
  7. Sorry to dissapoint - but yes, thats the key. I also found it quite unbelieveable that the key was like that. My oil burning golf key has more class. But at least you can tell owners of other marques that they put the effort into the car rather than the trimmings.
  8. Just a quick reminder that the closing date for entries for this quarters image header closes next sunday (30th). Mail them to chesterfield@350z-uk.com. Many Thanks, Chrs.
  9. Guys - there are quite a few bugs with this modification - so its getting put back until I can ascertain what is going wrong.
  10. Hmmm - still a few bugs in it. I think it may be time for a full upgrade to a diferent set of tools.
  11. I thought that it would be the right thing for the job... Well - 44 pages of coding for me then... And you think im joking. See you in a while.... Edit - I think I might try the automatic method, although as our software is highly modified there is the chance that it will go horribly wrong. If it does - expect a brief blip in service whilst I put it back. LOL
  12. In the mean time dont forget that this page shows the last ten active posts regardless of when you log in or out: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/portal.php
  13. Are you after the bolts that attach to the wheel hub itself or the nuts that screw on to the bolts? If its just the nuts, I can lend you some until your desired ones turn up.
  14. Ours is with Direct line, around the £500 level. But its insured as the missus car, as I get the dirty oil burner to take to work! LOL.
  15. No - once you read anything it will go to read (light grey). But if you log on, see 100 unread posts, read 20 of them then log off for the night. When you log on again next morning, the other 80 will still be there. It basically leaves all the unread marks for ever until you read the thread. It also gives you the ability to mark entire sections as read if you want to.
  16. Can you put one in for me too Tim? Cheers, Chris.
  17. Good news! - I believe I have found a solution.. It will keep all the unread flags set forever. But if you want to mark any specific areas as "read" you can do, leaving all other posts in other areas that you have not read yet, set to unread. Sound about right for folk?
  18. Ill have a look at this guys... I know its an issue, and it happens for me too. Especially if you log out, then log back in.. (which I do for testing every now and then) That wipes them out too.. Ill see what I can do as regards setting the unread posts to permanent and also giving an option for all new posts in the last X hours.
  19. and on a slightly damp road too! New underpants sir.
  20. I'll tell you now those mcgards are a bit hard to get off without the right tools! Also, make sure whatever type of locking wheel nut you get, you dont have them tightened up with an impact wrench. That can break the mcgards keys, which will leave you in a mess. Always tighten any locking wheel nut by hand to avoid damage to the nut and or special key.
  21. Jacko - its just over an hour to Donnigton from where I will be joining (Junction 29). Probably best to leave 1hr 30, from Jct 29 to get to donnington. Do you reckon we could meet at the tibshelf services (just 1 or 2 miles south of 29)at say 5:30 then?
  22. Yes count us in for the meal (myself and Tracy). What time can we make the meeting at Donny?
  23. I am up for this, but will have to join the Manchester brigade at a convinient point en route. Donnington Services?
