Yep - paint is good enough to use for resizing pictures. Just remember to save as JPG format to keep the file size down. We try to aim for a maximum size of 100 pixels high and 500 pixels wide, so as to ensure the posts aren't lost in a sea of images. (although they are nice images).

Yes - you can link to pictures from photobucket. so the code would be something like [ img]http://wherever_your_image_is.com[ /img] Just remove the spaces from the [ img] and [ /img] tags above. Hope that helps....

Hi - its not wrong, it is simply a restriction of software created in a land where daylight saving is not observed. It can be set to the correct time en masse, but then that would alter it considerably for our non-uk visitors/members. So for now, hanel is right, you will need to change it in your profile.

Ouch yes - that is a problem with the gear knob I put in the golf (its the one from the beetle sport) the metal rim round the top gets mighty HOT if left in the sun.

Yes its certainly a case of do as I say and not as I do.. My hoover was a long way away, and is a heavy bugger - so a wet finger or two it was. (and it took longer than fetching the hoover would have done) But Ill certainly be following the rule from now on!
