  1. Stop it! The voices in my head have only just gone away. I also have to run everything past "the boss" I do want to change the exhaust and the tone, but funds are a little tight at the moment. This certainly looks like a nice piece of kit though.
  2. Thats true, it is a tight time, Ive managed to get some Z badges and thats me lot for now, I want an exhaust and a bodykit this year (before show season at the latest), having read about this system and the reviews, then its certainly one Id consider along with the Nismo, but Ive got a warranty to consider, and dont know what an exhaust would do to that. Plus the pennies arent flowing freely yet.
  3. please, these quotes are making me seasick. Can we just quote the last post rather than the entire thread?
  4. There are times when I think our stance of not deleting posts and allowing people their freedom to post at will, causes us more difficulties than is good for us. I personaly think that the joint meet idea would have gone some way to helping lots of people bury the hatchet so to speak, but unfortunately the momentum of that idea seemed to drop off - but it was great to see such determination on bith sites to make it work. Maybe in the future? Can weall have a group hug please?
  5. If somene were interested in purchasing one of these here Nismo exhausts, where would people suggest going....
  6. Ive taken the liberty o putting this as a sticky for now Suzy, Ill add it to the calendar too. Should be a great event for all!
  7. I do think they look one hell of a lot better than the standard Z4, and the M is apparently quite a motor.
  8. The ones on mine are fully painted too - blue on the inner and outer. Never heard of them being mesh on the inside before, perhaps they are aftermarket jobs, or there is a faulty sensor. Id make sure that the dealer replaced them with propper jobs, and not anything like those god awful black lugs you see on some cars that have had them fitted aftermarket.
  9. Thanks Stephen, I thought it should be ok, just didnt fancy the speedracing rear after reading about clearance issues, plus I am starting to like the smooth skirts with vent at the rear rather than the "twisted" or overlapping effect on the speedracing. STill cant make my mind up - maybe comparing prices will help
  10. When he gets angry, you learn swear words in Italian. Butin all seriousness, Im thinking of going for the speedracing rear with the rest of the Greddy bits - anyone good with photoshop? Will they match up well enough?
  11. If you are interested in an parts of the speed racing, Val may be able to help you out - he has his uses, and cutting through the Italian Language barrier is certainly one. Ive asked Val if he can get me some info on various parts of the speedracing, so may have the answers myself in a while.
  12. No idea why emotions run so high, but they just do. I cant read the owners club website anymore, well not at work anyway as my IP appears to have been banned - although Ive not posted there for months. Obviously Ive been banned for my postings here, although I dont think any of them are worthy of banning. Anyway each to their own. If I use a proxy server, it works just fine, use a standard web browser and it doesnt work - so clearly a ban on my IP has been implemented for some unknown reason. Considering this P15 guy once reffered to ALL our members and any fellow 350 owner who posts on this site using the statement "Only sh1tbags and W@nkers post there", I wonder how I can be banned, and this chap allowed to make coments like that and remain - anyway, far too much else to worry about. Im going back to trying to fix a few errors that still persist on this site, and geting on with our overdue birthday present to you all too - Grrr, cant seem to find enough time. Ta, Chris.
  13. The holes dont line up with anything on the new badges - if they did, then those of us without holes would have an issue requiring us to remove lugs on the new badges. I always thought there were holes on the back of the coupe when removing the rear badge. I know that there are no holes on the convertible as I did mine the other day - had to use masking tape and pencil marks to make sure I knew where to put the new one after taking the original off.
  14. Hi, Ive just asked the same thing.. It is here: http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/pnissan350z.htm We dont have any reviews or experience of these guys. The prices are noted as +VAT and Delivery. I will be making enquiries into the Greddy kit myself (minus the rear if possible) and will be comparing to prices available for the speedracing kit, Im hopeful that the two kits should match pretty well so a mix and match of those two may well be on the cards for myself.
  15. Ive actually been considerin the Greddy for some time, but the back is just awful imho. I also like bits of the Kaminari kit too. Hoping to get something on the car for this years show seasons, but cant make up my mind what. Im thinking about the speedracing sides and rear with some form of front lip. Or the Greddy front and sides with a speedracing rear. The possibilities are endless.
  16. Just to advise, admins cannot access private messages sent between users on this forum. Not easily anyway. In order to access PM's, a person would require root access to the physical database, and the writing of a specific query to match user Security ID's to messages, and then to the security ID of the recipient. It is possible to do, but such action is very long winded, it would probably only be undertaken if we were requested to hand over information for any legal matters etc if requested by appropriate authorities. This thread has not been tidied up, fortunately it has not required any intervention thus far. Thanks, Chris.
  17. Private messages (and they are private, not personal - hover over the button and see) are just that, private - however, there are exceptions to this. I have to question if it is acceptable for a moderator or committee member (dont know whether both apply) to talk about other individuals and fellow 350z owners in this manner, private or otherwise. I am quite dissapointed to see such venomous remarks being used by a person in "authority" within the 350Z community as a whole, and can appreciate that this topic here has to be handled very delicately indeed - as it has the pottential do be very damaging to this site as well as any other - not something that would benefit the community as a whole. Unfortunately I am out tonight so cannot coment further on this, I also understand that this maybe something of a political hot potato, but please lets try and keep this thread as professional as possible - if it turns into a slanging match, it will need locking. Ill be back later. Chris.
  18. Nope - still dont see them. Its hovering I tell thee.
  19. I must have had a few too many last night... With all this moding Val, haveyou managed to replicate the antigravity technology from Doc Browns Delorian? Where we're going, we dont need roads....
  20. Happy birthday! congratulations! Hope its a great day.
