  1. The random question method of securing against bots is someting being worked on. There are already some measures in place which have cut them down, bit these bots are clever. I am hoping to find time to resolve this spam issue once and for all.
  2. Dorian - our built under base oven is not housed inside a unit itself, the other units either side box it in and the kick strip covers the legs that it stands on. Ill try and find a pic...
  3. As much as it pains me, please can we try and steer away from any personal insults or forum wars. Ive taken the personal stance not to lock this topic yet, as I also feel agreived by personal treatment of myself and comments levelled at this site and all its members by certain moderators/committee members, but obviously cannot be seen to join in any "bashing", hence the request to keep the topic non personal etc.
  4. Pah - amateurs. I got... 2 chairs, 2 fleeces, 2 sleeping bags, some shirts, a pair of jeans, a towel and some forums stickers in the Roadster without touching any cubby holes or the boot In the rest of the "space" - I got a 5 man tent, 4 litres of coke, a gazebo, a forum banner, a guilotene, more stickers, flyers, a weekends worth of food, 3 disposeable bbq's and a coupe boot spoiler. Looking forward to trying to break this personal record at the next JAE or camping meet. They are practical, you just need imagination. PS - you even get a sticker with the roadster showing how to get one golf bag in the boot.

    Ferries

Im going to be booking on the speedferry for the euro trip, hopefully no issues - but Ill live and learn.
  6. I hope she will be coming on the Euro trip too Tim, Tracy will be glad of the female company!
  7. I was just shunting it about on the drive to get the other end in the garage to do the rear Z badge. Was either not paying attention, or my leg was numb from the cold, and I didnt stop in time when shunting forward, managed to stick the front end right into the corner of the centre pillar between the two garage doors, not too hard though. Luckily I hit the number plate instead of the bumper itself, so just scraped/knackered that instead of anything major. Quick replacement job and just about as good as new. My own stupid fault I shouldnt have been lazy, and just backed the thing the whole way off and spun it round further out.
  8. I wasn't flavour of the month with er' indoors I can tell you. Though Fancy Plates do a pretty good service, Ive got the Reg, the GB logo and the forum name and all done in the legal font too. (spacing might be questionable though). Not too expensive either. www.fancyplates.com £15.85 for a single and £30.48 for a pair, including delivery and VAT.
  9. Ive just ordered another front one for mine from fancyplates.com (after my experiment into quantumn physics and the theory that two physical bodies can in fact share the same space at the same time, went a bit "wrong" )
  10. Hmm - considering the differing performance levels of the various Z's taking part, and their respective braking distances etc, at 100mph I would have thought there is the pottential to have this go horribly horribly wrong. As per others a nice steady lap would be fine - 100mph with nearly 150 cars on the track and Ill watch from the paddock ta very much.
  11. Locked as per request of 3 members including the OP.
  12. The rays are forged - only £900 with tyres - so £600 without.
  13. Its great to read posts like this - in fact without them, we wouldnt know what to do to improve things. Sorry to hijack the thread a little, but if people feel that during this thread they realise something is missing from our site, or feel something could be improved, share it - you'll probably find that lots of people feel the same way, but nobody has mentioned it. Ive actually met quite a lot of very nice people due to this forum, and hope I can refer to many of them as friends now too - which is great.
  14. Just pointing out the irony of asking others to stop spamming posts to death, whilst dragging on this thread for page on end. Feel free to beat everyone into submission until yours is the last post on the subject, meaning it must be the only acceptable view allowed..... only one more member left to brow beat on this thread. Once its done can we lock it?
  15. I only spent £950 on my wheels, with tyres, doe sthat make the Rays @*!#? Seriously - what is the point of continuing futile arguments on here. Im not going to pay more than £1000 for a set of wheels. I just dont see the extra value. Maybe Im a crap driver, maybe they arent the best for the car. But guess what - I dont care. As Dorian said, everyone places a value on an item depending on its personal worth to them. Why we have to droan on for page after page after page I dont know. Val thinks expensive wheels are better, others feel cheaper wheels are just as good, and many of us - myself included, havent got the first clue what difference they make other than sometimes different wheels look good.
  16. Hols booked - can make the first week, but will be back home for work on the 18th.. Looking forward to this already!
  17. Sadly not - I forgot the camera, and it was ruddy freezing! lol. There were a couple of guys doing the rounds with Tripods etc, so Im sure there will be a few up in time, Ill see what can be found. Also, the photo for the magazine was taken with the gathered crowd - the Copper on duty couldnt be pursuaded to join in no matter how hard the organisers tried. It was a god turn out, just 2 350Z's though (myself and Redzed), some very nice examples of jap cars, a pristine R34 GT-R V Spec for one. Very nice indeed.
  18. removed - along with the account used to create it.
  19. No - they didnt have it in the showroom, its being used by someone at head office apparently - so no spending to be done! Gave the car another few miles of a god blast though!
  20. Im on my way to this. There is also a dealership nearby with a nice chilli red coupe in stock, so I have an ulterior motive...
  21. Just means your local consabulary has some real work to get on with then - lol. Private Number plates seem to be the concern of the major crime squad up here! lol.
