Bloomin eck, just come back from an evening out for drinks with two friends Ive met thanks to this very forum, and the first unread post I read is this. I do hope you will reconsider beavis, and Im sure you can bend my ear at the karting about how you feel, though obviously its something that you feel strongly about. From my personal perspective and experience I can say that there will always be personality conflicts within internet forums - as the number of members continues to rise, the chances of experiencing one of these conflicts increases also. There have been times when my comments have caused upset to other people, and also times when other peoples comments have caused me upset. While most of the time I have bitten my tongue, there have been occasions when I have perhaps let my emotions rule and I have entered into heated "debate" which has probably not been the wisest course of action. There have also been times when I have had to try and play United Nations and mediate other conflicts that have arrisen - whether thats part of my role here, or just my nature I dont know, but its something I do, hopefully successfuly. Beleive it or not there are sometimes minor conflicts within the team of people here - and I believe working through any that arrise is what makes us stronger and hopefully work better together for the benefit of everyone here. It is a shame when people become upset with others, but as I say, its going to happen given the number of personalities on the forum. Perhaps we can all take something from this and consider just what we post on the forum, and what can be sent by PM, there is an awful lot of chat that could perhaps be better placed in Private Messages, and although we would never wish to see the forum become clinical and strict, the balance seems to require addressing and bringing back on track. Beavis, my PM box never gets full (admin perk I suppose ) feel free to send me one if you want to bend an ear. Sarnie, the same goes for yourself - feel free to send me a message if you feel there is anything I can help with. Heck, my inbox is open for anyone if they feel they want to chat about the issues raised within this topic. Chris

Great pics! Sounds like a very reasonable dealership too. Bit unfair to take advantage using a little fib, but still - they have some nice pics there, and on a website getting an awful lot of traffic from owners and owners in waiting I can imagine the looks that thoese two get in convoy!

Pah - dont do much with them Im going to sort my Z badge out now, then Ill be using that server access later to sort out some more links on the main page and try to sort some other bits and bobs. As Val says - no difference or heirachy at all, just the admins have access to configuration control panels so we can change the forum around or users profiles etc, moderators have access to the standard tools that are used to keep the place tidy. We could just have every one of the team as an Administrator - but it may then look a little overbearing when people are used to a heirachy structure with Admins as the top level, maybe we could all just have the tag "350Z-UK Team" or something?

If the kids did that round here, Id sneak up alongside the fence and chuck a couple of housebricks over. They can go of crying to mummy and daddy, but daddy better be a big bugger if he plans on coming round and having words. Since the incident where I stabbed a football with a carving knife, the kids steer clear of our house - they even walk on the other side of the road. I assume they regard me as some psycopath Victor Meldrew type. Which is fine by me.

Once you have said the name for the second time, it should repeat the name to you (in your voice) - it is then that you say "dial". -

You cant dial the name using the "dial name" function, until you have stored the name in the memory of the 350 first (this is seperate to the voice dialing you may have on the phone). First you need to store the name "my home" as a voice recording. This thread has an instruction manual, which may be of help: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2713 -
London to South coast trip - Sund 12th August 2007!!
Chesterfield replied to N15MNO-Daron's topic in Meets, Shows and Events
Brlliant idea - there are a growing number of members down South and always those who are willing to travel to attend. Once dates are sorted etc it can be stickied up - hopefuly in an improved "meets" section with regional splits to make it easier for people to find events in their local area. -
If you have modded your Xbox 360 and use live beware

Indeed - that would certainly be very cunning - and highly amusing if true, I can see the people with hacked consoles crying into their cornflakes now! -
So Audi are targetting the hairdresser that can drive now? Thats a fairly niche market they've cornered.

Actually - there is some truth in what your friend says. With the previous xbox, "chipping" was fairly easy to detect, as the chip bypassed and forged certain elements on the main motherboard of the machine, and had its own bios running on the box. Very easy to detect online by some clever software. The problem for MS this time round, is that in order for a machine to be "chipped", you do not need to modify any chips on the main board at all, its actually the firmware of the dvd drive that is modified. The dvd drive passes relevant codes to the main hardware to verify an original disc is in the machine, and hey presto, it works. It is very difficult for MS to develop any software that will run on the main console that can investigate the status of firmware on the DVD drive, aspecially if this Firmware on the DVD drive is pre set to give the "right" answers. To be fair, for me, losing the enjoyment I get from playing on line is not worth the risk of chipping in order to play pirate games, though its always funny to see people moan on the xbox forums whe their consoles stop working. Unlucky. -

Ive got the answers in a handy rtf file - red answers denote bomb questions, so you know when to expect to perform the answer quickly.

Sadly - it would appear the law is an ass. Tracys father was once the victim of having the rear gates to his property vandalised time and time again - he reported it to the boys in blue time and time again - no action was taken and no visit was made. He was simply told that without evidence there is nothing that can be done. So the next time the kids were doing it, he started taking photos. One of their knuckle scraping parents phoned the police and reported him for taking pictures of children. He had a knock on the door within the hour. I have certainly used a video camera in the past to record the activities on my drive and around the general area in the street, usually at Halloween & Bonfire Night time of year. Whethr its ilegal or not I dont know - but if I caught anyone damaging my property on a video camera and then identified them at a later date, I am fairly confident that my actions at that point int time would be illegal.

Apparently you HAVE to use all the skips in order to beat it.

That will seem like a long lap Steve Fair doos - I think this will be truly spectacular - certainly one to remember and the photos on the day should be absolutely brilliant for everyone. -
When I was last at the Chesterfield office Mark, they had a jersy in a glass cabinet on the wall of reception signed by the whole team.
