  1. I hope some may find these funny.. sheff u http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jg5HsG7AN1Y xBox http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYvZnTFpip0 Car stolen:
  2. Sorry - had other things to attend to It was in Cozumel. It was at the computer that I was using at the time to keep up to date with the forum. I hadn't actualy noticed it was there until Tracy came down to let me know we had a meal booked, so I should be making a move. She just froze and advised that I may want to walk away from the PC before turning round. Of course - that was the worst thing she could do, I just said "what" and turned round. I almost ran through the desk, taking PC and all with me. After recovering, I said I had to get a photo, and that was as close as I dared get whilst screaming blue murder at Tracy to get the photo before I did something involuntary, and rather messy. It must have been the Coronas I had been drinking, as I wouldnt do it now!
  3. The pickle was doubtless the hottest thing about the hatchback they were sat in too.
  4. Thread locked pending discussion of PM request within the team.
  5. Oops edited my post as you were posting - re-edited to explain the request for the stickers.
  6. And what exactly would the other side of the story have been?? That you were upset the team didnt want to implement your idea of hierachy and specific roles, so left in a sulk and decided to redirect the urls out of spite? Unless of course there is another explanation. Just need to find the stickers now too.
  7. Its on the bottom of the previous page..
  8. Ill post these seeing as you haven't: :rant:**&&!!$*** Absolute mindless idiots. They would find them in the park behind our house doubling as a bike rack!! As for the badge, there may be some that have debadged that have no use for theirs anymore? Either that or ebay? Gutted for you - absolute idiots.
  9. Seeing as the administration contact for 370z-uk.com is listed as xxxxxxxx@350z-uk.com it does appear strange.
  10. All the domains previously have been purchased by individuals and then pointed to this site - i.e. 350z-uk.co.uk The details on how to access these domains and point them to the site is made public knowledge to the team members - therefore the team/club is in control of the domains. In this instance the domains were purchased after this discussion and directed to this site. For some reason they are now not directing to this site, and instead to the 350z-tech site and control was never given to the club.
  11. This does need answering. From the thread discussing this in the admin area, these domains were purchased for and on behalf of the club. Either they were for this club or they were not. Why has the redirection now been changed away from this site?
  12. We had this little fella on holiday:
  13. What are these Paul? (I know they are disc brakes before any smart answers come in!)
  14. Oops - voted PC before I read the budget. Sat nav for the budget, but removing the budget restraints, PC every time for me - but it takes some skill and effort to put a good working PC in a car - shoving a tomtom into the cubby is about the limit for now.
  15. We have a large number of owners on here, and instances of theft being reported are quite rare indeed, in fact I cant remember the last one. Instances of malicious vandalism however have been known. There have been a few (although still fairly rare thankfully) reports of cars being keyed by scum of the earth. Unfortunately todays society seems to have bred a generation that contains more than the normal level of mindless idiots that would rather vandalise a nice car than save up and buy one of their own. There has to be a dollop of common sense used when owning a Z, just like any other nice looking sports car, regardless of the badge addorning its bonnet. Busy car parks, superkarkets, town centres full of drunken kids, known dodgy/rough areas etc. Park a Z in any of those for a while or overnight and you may be increasing your chances of high blood pressure when you return to it.
  16. Well apart from one then.
  17. Its certainly a milestone - there are certainly more active members month on month. The webstats and bandwidth usage figures would also confirm that. Looking in the members list there are a significant number (730+) that have made at least 2 posts (i.e. they are not single "for sale" or spam posts) If we consider regular posters to be folk with over 50 posts then there are almost 200 that fit the bill. Im sure if we continue the way we are, then the numbers will just keep on growing. Its due to the continued support of all the members on the site that the community keeps on growing each day. Id like to thank each and every one for making this so much fun. It has made, and continues to make every day of Z ownersihp just that much better!
  18. The first one we got was 6 months old, blue roadster. Still remember the grin I had on my face when we picked it up. Look forward to seeing you behind the wheel of a Z in the near future!
  19. Mrs Chesterfield keeps looking at the property pages and pointing out houses, just after we have finished the work on this one and can enjoy it. So Ive started pointing out new cars just after Ive bought all the bodykit bits for this one. The irony doesnt seem to sit well Hows the car number crunching going?
  20. Probably speculating, but not realising just quite how limited their market is...
  21. Address the package to Mr & Mrs XXX and Family. The allowance is per person - a package addressed as above is assumed to be both adults and 2 children. Thus increasing the limit to £72. According to the customs & excise employees based at Parcelforce main depot when I last visited, this results in the allowance being multiplied by 4, as each person has an £18 allowance. Not a guarantee, but thats the insider info that I was given by customs when discussing the issue... Worth a try.
  22. I think most of the MY 99 XXX, where the 99 is the year and XXX is the car, such as MY 56 AMV or MY 05 ZED are £799. I think plates like this need to be sold on with the car when the time comes to be honest. We have a plate on ours which is Tracys name, and a plate on the Altea which is my name - these are interchangeable between cars so were an investment for life. A car specific plate may be a shorter term investment unless there will be a future market for other owners that may buy it.
  23. Welcome back stranger!
  24. If the rumours ar true about the impending release of a 370Z, or when the Nissan GTR hits our shores, that could also have a rather negative effect on the new 350Z prices too. Ex Demos may certainly be one option, though I doubt there are many dealers ready to move on their demo car just yet. There is a discussion on buying ex demos here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight=
  25. We dont talk about depreciation round here - we like it to be a happy place. In all seriousness, depreciation on a new UK car is not great. Its not been helped by Nissan bringing out a new model 350z to the UK every 2 minutes either. The first one we bought was a 6 month old, and we got something like 4.5K off the list price, without a trade in. So the previous owner must have swallowed something like 5.5k in 6 months. Although it has to be said when buying a car like the 350Z depreciation concerns clearly cant be at the top of your list, they should still be considered. Is owning a brand new car and having the small changes on the 07 worth the depreciation? After that question is answered, the rest are just specs, colour and searching.
