Do not attempt to do this by hand, they will crack into small pieces and youll be trying to get them out using a finger with a wetted end for about a year.

Been washing and waxing over the last few days. Backed the car out this evening to do some work in the garage that was going to create dust. On the drive for all of about 30 minutes, came to put it away and found a great big bird @*!# on the bonnet and down one door. Currently searching for air rifle retailers near me now.

I think you're right - its likely to be the handwash places and whatever concoction they put on the tyres. If there were any problem with the likes of the sonus/autoglym/megs stuff, then I reckon there would have been a lawsuit, most likely in the US, long before now.

Ive used the Autoglym - doesnt look like it will flick off the tyres as long as it is left for a decent length of time to dry.

What is the cost of shipping to the UK from yourselves then? I think it would be useful for people if they had answers to the following questions in order to make a decision: 1) How long is the turnaround, including shipping back to the UK (so people know how long their car is off the road for) 2) How much is shipping to the UK, and is this insured? 3) What are the projector mod options? Hope that helps

Do the costs include shipping and insurance whilst shipped? How long would the turn around be? As above, this effectively takes the car off the road until the headlights are returned right in the middle of our UK show season. May not be an issue for some people, but would be useful info for people considering it. Chris.

Have you tried polishing it yourself first with something not too abrasive, like a claybar or some p21s?
