Exactly, he was driving without insurance, so therefor had no respect for the rules in the first place, so why on earth should we expect him to obey the ban. Get caught driving while disqualified, and guess what your punishment is - disqualification. Whoop de doo. I think they should start inflicting penalties like removing access to the internet, or taking away their television license or part of their giro, etc etc. I dont know quite how it would work, but a punishment that actually inflicted some sort of pain. Even custodial sentences arent really a deterent, they are like bloody holiday camps, perhaps even better conditions than they live in anyway!

A year!? Took me a weekend Rob. Well, one day with the car at Phils and one day taking the missus shopping Just cant decide what to do with the plenum. -
Ahh well I was in a mood. Just got to think of something else to do before the weekend show then. Hmmm.. thinking cap on.
-
Dont worry. You arent the first to do it, and you wont be the last. Ive driven into my own house with the previous Z, the missus has scraped it with this one (same place as yours), and I even managed to stick the rear arch of my Altea into the garage pillar one day

Question for the guy's around chesterfield.
Chesterfield replied to Renegade's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Handy to know - Ill tell the missus and she can get her hand in her purse to sort out the kerb damage on ours then I think Ive seen the van from that place parked outside a house a few hundred yards from our house come to think of it. -
Just thought I would share with you my personal opinion of this outfit. Look on their website and just about every item is listed as "available to order". Its not until after your credit/debit card has had the money taken that you receive an email stating "we are currently waiting for a stock shipment to arrive. We anticipate your item(s) will be with you in 7-10 days." No mention of working days, and also no mention that what they actually mean is something more like: "We dont carry those items in stock, and we order them direct from Germany - when you ordered last Wednesday, that was a little late to get them on this Mondays Delivery, so they wont be coming on our stock order until next Monday. Which means you wont get them until at the earliest next Tuesday, which is, in their own salesmans words, a bit of a bummer." Oh of course their website states everything is available to order, and no indication what-so-ever whether they are in stock or not. And you get to phone an 0870 number for the pleasure of being told you wont be getting your items any time soon. So my personal opinion is that you should steer clear of Europerformance if you want anything resembling a decent level of service. PS. If anyone from Europerformance wants this post removed, then they should contact me - Ill give them my order number and if they can get it to me by the weekend Ill take it all back. Other than that, try improving your website and your service levels. /rant. PPS. Im not saying what the bits are Ive ordered, its another surprise for Rob (H5) when he sees the car

Good lord you have a project there Knowing how tricky it was to get a colour match on the few bodykit parts I had fitted, I would seriously suggest that on this project you just have the whole car done. You are replacing that many parts that matching them will just be pointless if not impossible. In which case you may as well just buy the parts in any colour you can find. Skirts and front bumper will be standard - just make sure you dont get the import bumper as it wont have the holes for the headlamp washers. Rear wing you may get away with, in fact lets hope you do, as cutting in a new one will be a nightmare. The A pillar looks slightly damaged on the driver side. There are clip on/off covers on the A pillars, so these could be replaced, or you could buy carbon covers if you really wanted, though on the A pillar Im not too sure about the look. Front wings will also be a standard item across the Z range, but take the Z emblems off the side, I believe these may be slightly different on the GT4, though I havent paid that much attention. Id contact the traders on the forum here and see if they can lay their hands on the parts you need. Im sure they will be able to help you out.

If your experience is anything like mine and another chaps from the forum, you are going to have some SERIOUS fun trying to get a perfect colour match on the pearl yellow. Your best bet would be to try and source some parts already done in Ultra Yellow (paint code E33 in case you need it) and hope that they are a good match. As for parts, if you are replacing the skirts and front bumper, then it may be cheaper to have aftermarket ones than new OEM ones supplied by Nissan. Welcome to the club Im sure there will be plenty of support to be found here and help getting the car looking the way you want it

Am I the only one that thinks the person writing the article/s for the Sun, wouldnt know the difference between a murcielago and a gallardo if it jumped out at them and slapped them in the face with a haddock. You would think that the least they could do when writing about the destruction of expensive cars, is have someone write the article that actually has a clue about the cars in question.
-
Ill go with you Rob.

I would get them on ebay certainly, and advertise them here too. Someone will probably need one or two to replace damaged wheels at some point. I believe they are still £1k each from Nissan, so if you do damage one, it is almost certainly an insurance claim, with whatever excess the policy has.
-
Murci's can be had for Gallardo money now, but I dont fancy the £10k+ clutch change.

You'll be spending a great deal of times on the roads next weekend then! Fingers crossed for good weather! Welcome to the club by the way

Wasnt a fan of the rear at all on the new Nismo car, but in its defence the thing had been designed with function more in mind than form. The added adjustable shocks in the braces front and rear etc. A lot of the Nismo stuff on the car was hidden behind the rest of the standard gear, you had to look hard to spot it. Agree with the looks though, certainly not to my taste. I dont think the function over form look is the thing for me. -

Mike Admin - Did I Miss The Announcement
Chesterfield replied to a topic in Site Suggestions & Feedback
No - we are all the same, the admin tag just comes with being able to access the control panel needed to sort various things out, like move, add or change sections of the forum and also reset passwords and activate accounts etc. In order to cut the possibility of overlap in changing things in the control panel and any of us making a mistake we try not to have too many people with that access, though to cover holidays and work commitments we need to ensure there are enough so as to ensure there is someone available to do the necessary when needed. -
No problem round here - cost me less than a tenner to have four tyres taken off the rims and four new ones put on! and they took special care of the rims too! Absolute bargain of a place and excellent customer service.
